I just did the testing including the p227 urban against the m40 and the testing shoes a fairly big differenceOriginally Posted by GiveMeTactical Go to original post
at 90-100 meters handguns drop around a head and drastically drop off the further you get
the m40 didn't drop off at 200 it was still a straight line
just waiting for the clips to upload so I can stitch them together
turns out the p227 urban is perfectly in line with all the handguns in drop
if you hit your target out 150 meters with any handgun that's impressive but the snipers are far superior when it comes to drop
You seem to be saying, how I interpret your words anyway, that a pistol had less drop than a sniper when you played.Originally Posted by GiveMeTactical Go to original post
This is what I thought you'd meant from the start and as I doubted it had actually happened, asked if you could either video it or tell me what pistol and sniper it was you used so I could check. My suspicion is that you still don't own the game. I don't know, but you posted again recently suggesting you hadn't bought it, which is why I offered to check. I hope I'm wrong on that point, by the way, I would be happy to know you have now got it. Anyway, Mantic also doubted what you said and has kindly provided the video to demonstrate what the drops are.
Hopefully we can agree now that pistols have more bullet drop than sniper rifles and move on. If not and there is a pistol/sniper pair where this isn't the case, I am happy to check. It am genuinely interested if this is in the game as it strengthens the case for change.
darkdally did a video series were he tested all the sniper rifles bullet drop (he also did one for the assault rifles) I believe it was either the g28 or dragunov svd that had the worst dropOriginally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post
short barrels also significantly increase drop so maybe if you set those rifles up in a specific way and found the hand gun with the best range you could see similar results
