Hi diulama, are you using cloud saves? Are cloud saves enabled?

your saves are most likely toast if you have the uplay cloud save setting enabled ..sometimes that screws up if you lose internet connection or crash during an AUTO save
back up your own saves if you wish to keep them and shut off that setting in Uplay
see the steam FAR CRY 4 troubleshooting tips section here
https://steamcommunity.com/app/29811...6486417358966/
scroll down till ye see section 15 at the end i left a link to my backed up save archive if you need it .. just unzip it ..see the read me on where to install the save you wish to use
keep in mind steam and Uplay only versions use a differing folder number for save files .. steam versions use 856 Uplay only uses folder 420
i have pretty much every mission of the game backed up more info is in the read me file in the zip archive
here it is anyway
You can replay missions and have multiple save files . its not that hard to do .
here are some of my backed up save files (i have the Steam version of the base game )
i do not have saves for every mission yet ..this is just a bunch that i backed up
just copy and paste my saves to the right folder or copy the entire 856 folder over if you have the steam version .. with the uplay only version re name the folder to 420
the + numbers mean those saves have unused skill points you can use on some of the saves
each save consists of 4 small files
1.save
1.save.upload
2.save
2.save.upload
one is an auto save the other is a user created save point, the other ones are upload files that save to the cloud ,and it will always make those .upload files even if you shut off the cloud save option in Uplay settings
these will not work with a pirated copy of FarCry 4 you have to own the legit version
with the steam version of the game, saves your game to
(i keep Uplay on my c drive if you installed it to another drive letter it should go to the same path ..just different drive letter )
C:\ Program files X86 \ Ubisoft \ Ubisoft game launcher \savegames \ *a folder with a long series
of letters and numbers Varies from system to system* \ 856
the Uplay only version they go in
C:\ Program files X86 \ Ubisoft \ Ubisoft game launcher \savegames \ *a folder with a long series
of letters and numbers Varies from system to system* \ 420
to use these you do have to shut off the Uplay Cloud save option in the Uplay client settings .. but you should do this anyway, as it can create problems with a corrupted cloud save (it happened to me with FarCry 3 years ago and i had to delete my saved games and start the game all over , was the only way to fix it )
open Uplay FIRST
go to settings and uncheck the option that says
Enable Cloud Save Sycronization for supported games
oh and ALWAYS before you start a new game go to that 856 (or 420 ) folder and clear out and delete the saves you have left in there ...BEFORE you start a new game , not doing so can make the game go a bit WONKY , like one time i did not clear that out.... and i had ZERO Pagans Wrath convoys appear at all in my game , and i was unable to unlock the vehichle take down Skill.
if you need to back up your own save files first see this webpage
https://support.ubi.com/en-US/FAQ/9/...0000000enCFCAY
for a mission list ...go here to see where and how far you are in the game
http://www.ign.com/wikis/far-cry-4/Campaign_Missions
they should work fine as i use AKUNA;s saves here and they worked fine ..they are not encrypted like FC 3 saves were as far as i could tell as his saves worked perfectly fine here
i made my back up seperate from his as his numbering system was a lil confusing .. i named folders for each level in my ZIP archive
he also left a link for his archive on the steam forums as well as wrote a good guide for save file management
remember YOU need to shut off the uplay cloud save sync setting and back your own up in the future ..its not hard to do at all ..and only takes seconds to back up your save game manually
