Duels are ment to be in arena

Tell me if i'm wrong but duels are made to play on skills.
So it is a real problem that some characters, especially (almost every) centurions, are only trying to wall their opponents. On arena it is possible to get walled but it is because you have been overwhelmed or didn't think about your position on the map, not because of one mistake was made, so it is ok to me. But in maps like the forge for exemple, those characters who have great wall combos have a big advantage and it shouldn't, cause it is not based on skill anymore. I feel like a gigantic meadow or arena is more logic than a 5m² with spikes around to have a fair fight.. To me getting stuck in a corner is due to a bad map design and shouldn't be a thing, especially in ranked duels..
So what if duels were only in arena? Or at least if we could vote for the map before the fight start? Let me know whot you guys think!

If this is cos the environmental hazards exist all i can say is get some map awareness and situational awareness like, realise you're standing in front of something that could insta kill you lol.
Then what u wanna do is put ur foe in front of it instead, all that pressure "IS HE GONNA LEDGE ME OR PLAY FAIRLY" he'll be overly safe which usually back fires...

If you're too blind to realise where you are then thats your fault not theirs.
As an LB main who also mains pk i can tell you, the environment is part of LB's kit lol

I feel like you didn't understand what i wrote.. I don't have a problem with environmental damages in general, this is a fun and interesting feat in most of the game modes.
What i say is: Ranked duels must be as fair as possible, this is why there is no gear stats. It is objectivly undeniable that playing a ranked duel against a shugo or a cent in the foundry give a clear advantage to them.. It means that your chances to win or lose the fight are increased based on something completly independant of skill. This is factually bad game design.
