Hello all,
I'm hoping this actually gets to the developers, or anyone who has authority on this matter. I come here today with an open mind for all the For Honor players and payers. The news of Marching Fire release has been an exciting one that has taken the community by storm and anticipation for the new content. Some of the best content being free for all players of For Honor, as always, and as always, we all appreciate the hard work put into the world of For Honor.
That being said, I have taken notice through the community, everyone is excited slightly more and slightly less about different content that Marching Fire has in store. I myself am excited about the Graphical Enhancements and Arcade mode. Unfortunately when the news came forward that Arcade Mode will be locked behind a $30 barrier I was very disappointed - Not because I do not want to support the company, because I gladly would. I'm disappointed because the $30 that I would put out would be solely for the Arcade. The characters will be released for in game steel on October 30th, which I can wait for. I have in game steel and enough to unlock the hero, or heroes that I want.
For some players they want the early access, the outfits, all the characters and the arcade, the whole bundle.. From the group i'm part of i can say, some dont want the arcade they just want the Heros. Then there's people like me who just want the Aracade and don't mind waiting for the characters later release, don't mind using the game mechanics to grind for steel to purchase them one by one.
With that concept in mind I would like to suggest a new way to release this contnet;
-Arade DLC - Available for $10 - $15
-Hero DLC - Available for $20-25
-Marching Fire DLC - Available for a $5-$10 savings at $30
Giving each player the opportunity to buy what they want from the new content and if they want it all, but can't get the entire bundle, or don't want the entire bundle at once, can buy them seperately at different times.
Please give this recommendation a thought, as I feel it would offer your community a better way to play and pay their way instead of feeling forced into a $30 package they may not want or need all the content from.
