    For those with the missing mods bug. Did starting a new game have the same issue?

    I haven't touched the game since the missing attachments bug but kind of want to play the Ghost Mode.
    Just wondering for anyone who's had the bug, did starting a new game fix it or were you still unable to loot magazine upgrades?

    Over on the tech forums it's being stated starting a new character will not fix the bug.

    Well, that must be a specific scenario. Coz, when SO2 dropped I did make a character and none of my DLC was available. I discovered this during character pre-gen and didn't save.

    So I dropped out of the pre-gen and quit the client. Rebooted and started pre-gen again. Everything was back, business as usual. -- Then proceeded to fall through the map at level 17

    Maybe "saving" has something to do with it? -- I think it's kinda strange that you have one savegame that encompasses all modes. Then, when you add hugely conflicting modifiers (like permadeath) GM really should have it's own save file. I'm thinking systems here. Only the devs know what the merit, non-merit of that is.

    In going thru a number of the threads (PC tech), right off the top it isn't clear regarding specifics for the folks impacted. However Ubisoft has acknowledge there being an issue.

    In my case, in straight campaign, I've lost a number of attachments. So will see what happens after completion, since I wish to create a new character for a completely different approach.

    Yeah, there's definitely a bunch of issues that have really come into focus as the shop increases available purchases and the devs keep adding incentives and rewards. They gotta double down on solving them now. -- Also (in a very minor way) due to GM with PD; afterall, many of the problems have existed for a long time. It's just that you don't normally keep restarting characters ad hoc. Just do your best to ignore them for the time being. Play your ideas. Don't give up.

    Generating the character, before you save and start the game. Your character isn't generated, nor the game until you hit "save".
