Well since i dont play PVP, it really does not matter, yet i will still buy it....Originally Posted by CoOp_Gordon Go to original post
Besides the exotics in TD have to be upgraded to be worth anything why wouldnt TD2 be the same.... also cry to nerf it will be huge...
My suggestion spend the 120 bucks
FREE DLC!!!!!! Where did you think the money was going to come from? Games don't run themselves for free. You want paid DLC, or some cash shop items for those who want them? You must be a millennial...Originally Posted by V.i.c.i.o.u.S Go to original post
Fixed it for you. Cosmetic doesn't change anything. Unless the color of your backpack affects your gameplay now. If so I need to start using weapon skins.Originally Posted by CoOp_Gordon Go to original post
GTA5 does it. The do shark cards and sell all kinds of boosters packs for real money. Allows players to play all the dlcs for free. Of course the griefing is almost horrendous as TD. Let's not point fingers though.Originally Posted by Blkandwhtknight Go to original post
The money comes from us paying for the game. You know we pay full price for these games, right?Originally Posted by Blkandwhtknight Go to original post
With the first game they made about a billion dollars. There's no reason they can't make the same amount with the second game.
Making us pay for extra stash space is a cheap trick. They know it was a widely requested thing for the first game. Instead of just giving us more space they decided to try and make money from it. This is like charging us for ammo, it's money for something that should already be in the game.
If they do microtransactions for cosmetics then nobody cares, but a bigger stash means you have more choice. The game will be easier to play with a larger stash. We know that having a larger stash will mean you can keep your options open. Keep weapons for use later or keep gearsets to try in PvP. This isn't pay to win, but it is pay for convenience. It's something that they know will annoy us and they're hoping it will be enough of a pain to make us cough up the cash.
We shouldn't need to pay for servers again when our money was used to buy them in the first place. Mark my words: Paying for stash space now, means paying for extra save slots and character slots next. Once they can charge for basic things that should already be in the game, they will. It's money for nothing. They just need to make the game worse than it should be and charge us to improve it.
Also, don't expect much from the free DLC, my bet is that it will be the minimum they can get away with.
I was almost looking forward to this game, but all of this money grabbing isn't a good sign![]()
Yea, it's like I've been saying.Originally Posted by electricbil2009 Go to original post
The monetization of the stash is a poison fruit.
It looks fine at first glimpse but over time it'll taint other aspects of the game like loadout slots, character slots, and who knows what else.
Even if this poison doesn't happen, it's good to scold Ubisoft now before the game comes out.
Certain things in the Division shouldn't be monetized.

Or the hundreds in electric bills over 4300 hours of gameplay.
I just got kicked in the teeth by my wingman in the game he showed me his shield discount on DIV2 and hes only being charged £48 that includes a 9% discount with 8 shields. So why are us in the UK being charged £91 with only a 8% discount with exactly the same shields?
Its half the price we are paying in Russia?
