Which at one time, there was players willing to pay for extra stash space, loadouts, and characters. I wasn't one of them at the time, but there was interest.Originally Posted by RushLoongHammer Go to original post
Yea, I remember the interest players shown for additional stash space, loadouts and characters; there is still some interest today.Originally Posted by YodaMan 3D Go to original post
Personally, I think the number of loadouts could be increased, but I don't want Massive to see that and think since there is interest in this particular game function that it's a good idea to inject MTX.
Talking about this reminds me of the 21Kiloton video about SotG when MTX dev Matt Higby was on.
Not trying to equate the stash and lootboxes MTX; just something that I remembered that made me laugh :P
I'm not sure how I feel about this. If players that have the year one pass are able to do raid one week early, they will be able to get powerful gear ahead of everyone else. It is still alienating the playerbase. It's worrisome. It looks like Massive/Red Storm is adapting R6 Siege model.
I am not happy with the monetization of inventory pace (Stash Space). The revenue from sales from the premium vendor and year one passes is more than enough to cover live services. Especially, since players are now willing to spend $20 for an outfit in other games. For example, Fortnite and Rainbow Six. If the devs are going to implement the same type of customization items from Rainbow Six Siege and Fortnite, the revenue from those items will be more enough to cover for inventory space. We shouldn't be obligated to buy the ultimate edition to get more inventory space. It's just greed at this point.

Well for PC it looks like Ubi are going the Digital Only route for my location. No physical edition, no collector's edition, just a code. 120 Euros to send me a code. Thanks, but no thanks. Enjoy your game.
Just to add there are also 2 collectors editions.
Dark zone and Phoenix shield, they seem to both come with:
A Ubicollectibles© 30cm-high figurine (I prefer the dz one).
A Washington, D.C. map with a ton of information and secret locations left behind by another Division agent.
A Book of Lithographs: A selection of detachable lithographs, including twenty of the greatest pieces of art from the game.
The Soundtrack: a selection of the best songs from the game put together on a disc.
The Phoenix edition comes with 4 game packs whereas the dz edition has only 2.
Also the teddy bear trophy seems to be a pre order reward on any edition.
But from the images shown on the website, the DZ edition doesn't include the year one pass.
All other versions EXCEPT standard, include the year 1 pass.
I really hope that's just a misprint and it will come with it but it still needs to reflect that in the text below on the item description part.
Your right it doesn't include the year one pass and something else (I think it's the steelbook) but considering the price jump it's probably accurate.Originally Posted by spikbeatz2002 Go to original post
Looks like you get an "end game" blueprint of the SPAS exoticOriginally Posted by Merphee Go to original post
