for one thing Bickshack, those are two different types of module vests, and the second one is a Crye JPC 2.0 vest, just without any of the pouches attached. And that might be fine for a member of a SWAT team, who are a lot less likely to engage in long drawn out gunfights. But any operator, who is going outside the wire, is going to be prepared for anything, because an op that is supposed to take four hours could turn into one that lasts four days, if things go sideways.
The modular nature of most plate carriers enables magazines to be carried in any way the user prefers, whether kangaroo style or in exterior pouches. Personally, I prefer the latter, not only aesthetically but also practically.Originally Posted by BickShack Go to original post

However
The above carrier could be added in as a "Low Profile" or Recce vest. Mags on the inside instead of a full combat load.
More magazines pouches can be added and used in conjunction to the marsupial pouch on these plate carriers but a lot of tier one operators don’t carry full combat loads, most of the time they only carry 4 rifle mags, if they need more ammo they keep it in their vehicles, the ghosts are more like green berets doing an extended op than delta or devgru which only do quick fast hit ops, think of tier 1 like an international swat team, so yes the ghosts probably would need additional pouches for ammo but only 7 mags
See, this is why vests should be fully customizable in the next game. So if you just want a bare bones plate carrier, like pictured, you can. Or if you want to load up on pouches, knives, a chest mounted pistol. I also think tat if there are magazines modelled for use in weapons, there should also be matching pouches that can be equipped. So if you use n AK, as your primary, you should be able to put pouches with AK magazines, on your vest. All within reason of course. No chest mounted drum mags, etc.

These are definitely among the more popular suggestions in terms of gear.
