As a Warlord im a heavy,
Heavys cannot dodge + GB after conqs shield bash = I cant punish it.
I keep running out of stamina, and I eventually get grinded down.
Im scared of getting my lights parried, so I dont trow too many out. My headbut gets punished by a GB + counter attack.
How do I win this match up consistantly against a spammer? Is my only chance to Ledgelord him or is there a legit strat I can use to grind him down to dust?

You can just like everyone else. Side dodge recovery has been standardized. Even a Shugoki can do it. It is a less generous timing on conq compared to other bashes since he has a too good of a recovery on his shield bash which should be fixed but it is still possible for everyone.Originally Posted by NikolajSlav Go to original post
I would suggest to train that a bit. Did you mix your headbutt attempts up with Guard break attempts after forward dodging?
If I were you I would just use shield crush, headbutt-gb mix up throw in some feints to lights and occasional zones in to get as ambigious as you could be. Scoring with your headbutt should be the most reliable dmg source actually. The fact he dodges and punishes frequently must indicate that you are getting too predictable.
