It is a bit of minor thing, but I noticed it when I first unlocked it and it has kinda bothered me since: aren't the night vision goggles placed a bit too low?
NVGs I am refering to:
Change it to (screenshot edited from TheSgtUltra):
When you look up simular helmets with simular NVG's you get this, much better looking result:Spoiler: Show
These dudes in Medal of Honor [2010] have them like that too:Spoiler: Show
Like I said it's a minor thing, but I would personally find it nice if they were repositioned slightly.
I am probably being slightly nitpicky, so I apologise for that beforehand![]()
True, but I thought I might aswell try. Can't really lose with suggestions, right? Either they add it and you win, or they don't, but that's the same result you get when you don't suggest it at allOriginally Posted by crowlecj Go to original post![]()
To be fair, as much as people shat on Medal of Honor (it certainly wasn't perfect) it got so many things right. Even radio chatter, you could hear voices double (from the person actually speaking and it coming through the radio). The missions were amazing too, although the campaign could be finished very quickly.
I really hope Wildlands 2 will take place in Afghanistan early 21st century if they ever make it.
For now, getting night vision like in Medal of Honor would be niceATVs are another wish too, but I am fairly sure that already got passed on to the dev team.
Afghanistan would be a great location, it has so much diversity in landscape and habitat that would be very very good as an country of choice for an open world action game.Originally Posted by JensDekkersNL Go to original post
I wouldn't mind GRW2 being in Afghanistan, because the landscape is very varied. But instead of jungle regions, we could maybe get some larger cities, for some urban warfare. But it would have to be set after the US troops have fully pulled out, because it just wouldn't feel the same, if it was Marines rolling past in a Humvee, or if all the helicopters flying overhead are there to offer air support.
Well in medal of honor (here we go again) it takes place pre-invasion and it's actually Afghans fighting with you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vn2Q6IKqzUcOriginally Posted by Megalodon26 Go to original post
I wouldn't want larger cities tho. Simply because of performance, unless they fix that of course. In Wildlands I already get lower FPS in cities.
Nothing to apologise for, we appreciate that you care about GRW & provide feedback on even the smaller aspects of the game.Originally Posted by JensDekkersNL Go to original post![]()
MoH was an incredible game, but GRW is set in 2019, so the sequel, would likely be set in 2020 or 2021, so even if all the troops haven't pulled out by then, IRL, the game could say they have. And the power vacuum they left behind, allowed a Taliban-like organization, to seize control, and restart the opium production.
