Yes, generally you have to call when you lose service. They will generally credit your service for down time.

I can see why it’s frustrating. It’s unfortunate but big corporations and big business don’t really care they just want there money. Just the way the world is. I think it would be in good taste to say sorry for the inconvenience, here is what we are going to do to show u we appreciate your dedication to our product, whatever it might be. I wouldn’t expect anything though. Reminds me of a recall on a car. It’s your time, gas money, and inconvenience to have to bring the car in to get fixed(even though the repair cost is free). The don’t give you n e thing to make for it when u probably deserve something even if it’s a free tank of gas. I just felt like this was somewhat minor in comparison to other things I’ve seen with games. I’ve played games with monthly fees and the game goes down and you get nothing.
It's only that way, if people are just A-*****. You want the world to be a better place, then it starts by your own actions. In reality, show a little respect for customer loyalty by doing little things to show you are sorry you made a mistake. Shouldn't be a big deal, I don't feel people should be in constant denial when they do make mistakes. People are so scared of the legal side of business they forget to be human and do what is right for their customers benefit, which in turn makes them look better. They got to remember they got a new game coming out next year. Currently, I don't believe they got it right, when this game is scraping by.

Not saying we need free stuff, just a little consideration for our time that we have given the game. I hear people saying "It's just a game." No it is our entertainment and our entertainment funds don't have to go to them. It is their careers, which without us. Will be short lived.

I hope they get things worked out, but each day I see new issues and wonder how much longer they can get players to keep playing.

Just as a quick question, does anyone know of any other game developer who have put as much into the support of a game? Or listening to the community?

There was a bit of a list of page 3 of the freebies they've already given. I personally can't think of a game which has given this level of support and evolved the game as much as this has from the beginning until now.

Compensation is a bit extreme! They could leave the freebie window open another day if they want to, if for nothing rlse than to show the freebie players a bit of compassion for a game error.

You cant please everyone, i just cant think of another game that's already had so much support and is still doing so.

How many games do you need for your list? Do need to genre specific?

Is calling people A-***** the start of “ your own actions” to begin making the world a better place? Different approach but I guess it could be effective. Thought I read a reply on the first page of this topic to refrain from name calling, someone was trying to make the world a better place. Eh who knows?

You are correct, my bad and I apologize that I have offended you so much. I am at the point in my life when I hear people say they are just going to be poor representation of humans as possible, cause that is just the way it is. Well it doesn't have to be. We all need to try harder to be better, including myself. I am no exception, but I do try to treat others better as a whole.

I personally believe businesses can make lots and lots of money, with out take a dump on the little people. Not saying they need to bend over backwards, but show their customers just a little respect. I also don't believe that Ubi or Massive owes me anything personally for their latest debacle, but they could say, "Oops, sorry and it won't happen again and then make sure it doesn't happen again." Once again if this offends you I apologize. As humans when we put more value into paper and coins then how we treat each other and make blanket statements like, "It’s unfortunate but big corporations and big business don’t really care they just want there money. Just the way the world is." Big corporations don't have to be some big cold entity, they are made of people.

Ubi has in the past extended time because of glitches on their end, so perhaps they will do the same with this Shield? FYI, I didn't pay for Survival, have no need to play it for the shield or at all so I'm not clogging the servers

The only dead line is for those who are unwilling to buy it. For those of us who did, are just curious if when we can get back to playing it without these issues or are they part of the game now.
