Yet Ubisoft has never rewarded me for their mistakes, so I don't expect compensation now.

    So why do players feel Ubi owes them anything for this debacle, especially seeing how many are getting it for free? They have lost nothing. I do understand a player who has paid for it might be angered, but once again Ubi hasn't made it a habit of paying for their mistakes.
    Because we live in an age where triggered snowflakes and self entitled children run the internet.

    Well my friend there is a difference between an unexpected downtime that is the EULA often take into account and a intentional (by a negligence) downtime. But I will no go further in this discussion, as is a matter of legal opinions. You know, you are right, I'm right, both are right.

    Any case is a issue that is a not a good marketing for D2.

    Heres a question..

    if Massive gave you 10 free Cypher Keys and a free emote you dont have as a thank you for playing and thanks for your patience and understanding about the downtime with survival..

    would you have been upset about it?

    Or would you think..

    thats really Cool man.. they didnt have to do that, but its nice to know they showed their customers that they know it might have been a bit annoying but that they appreciate you as a Fan and a Customer.

    Other gamed give free stuff to all their players just when they perform their weekly maitenence,send a letter in your mail "thanks for your Patience. Here is 600 gems an 8x Speed ups. Have a great day"..... and if they have an unexpected maitenence or maintenance takes longer than expected = they give you double,triple even Quadruple the free stuff.
    ONnce i got 5000 gems in lords mobile becuause their server went down for like 5 hours. = its a 100% free to play game...and they dont have to give their customers anything ...Nor do they have to send a mail and Thank their customers them for their patience, or thank them for playing their game.....
    but it is a Very nice gesture. And it is appreciated to be treated like a Person and not like random scrub 1,000,005 who plays the game and dont deserve to be treated as anything less than an ATM machine = give us your money and Shut up...

    Well, they've given free stuff away before:

    Multiple emotes for just logging in the game during a certain time frame
    !drops - only those who hang in the Twitch chat knows what that is
    Premium credits when it was first introduced
    Reactivation caches, even if I don't need them
    The first three masks because of the GE leaderboard cheesers.
    And to some extent, you can even count double HVT drops and field caches.

    They don't have to do it each time something goes bad. The server lags all the time and hackers pop up every now and then; I don't expect to get free exotics, though.

    Firstly if an ISP needs to go down to do maintenance then they shouldnt be in business. They should have plenty of options available to take severs down as they please and not interrupt the service their customers paid for.
    If they go down through no fault of mine and i was not notified then i ring them and tell them to sort it out and that I dont expect to see my full bill as they are not providing the service.
    Very simple and i have every right to complain to them. I am not a sheep.

    This is exactly the response i expect from a company of this size. Why on earth they think its acceptable to say, Its fixed now and disappear back to their coffee machines?? No doubt we'll get Petr and Jannick laughing their way through it next Thursday on SOTG because they dont care and barely play the game themselves as they openly discuss how little they've achieved in global events and getting the shields done. Probably padded with some Division 2 news to make it all better. BS man.. BS

    I was really excited about TD2. Looks like a great game with many devs pouring their heart and soul into it only to have the product cared for after launch by people that clearly show they dont care.
    Its pretty poor and if i was one of those developers id be cringing right now.

    Just wanted say I can understand where u guys r coming from. Especially anyone who has been playing the division for a long time or been with it from the beginning. I can see why it’s frustrating. It’s unfortunate but big corporations and big business don’t really care they just want there money. Just the way the world is. I think it would be in good taste to say sorry for the inconvenience, here is what we are going to do to show u we appreciate your dedication to our product, whatever it might be. I wouldn’t expect anything though. Reminds me of a recall on a car. It’s your time,gas money, and inconvenience to have to bring the car in to get fixed(even though the repair cost is free). The don’t give you n e thing to make for it when u probably deserve something even if it’s a free tank of gas. I just felt like this was somewhat minor in comparison to other things I’ve seen with games. I’ve played games with monthly fees and the game goes down and you get nothing.

    i baught the game i played the game and as a discharged marine i like it over call of duty out right. truth is you made the decision to buy the game no one owes you a ****ing thing when you buy anything you run the risk of buying a game you dont like and when that happens thats on you. if you dont like the game oh well suck it up and stop playing go play something else you like.

    Yeah.. think these are the same words EA said about the new Batrlefield 5.. "if you dont like it. Dont buy it"... and well on youtube alonen i think the reveal video has over 500 downvotes and 99% of the comments are negative.

    On Reddit they actually Banned the Use.of the words Historic or Authentic and threatened their mem ers that there would be serious consequences for breaking those rules..hinting it could lead to permanant Bans from the sight... (so dont talk about a a Game Battlefield 5.. That the Developers Stated "The Most Authentic and Hitsoric WW2 game ever made"....because if YOU date use those words = you will be Punished.

    Nobody stated that the Game owed us Anything. This thread was actually a mirror of a post i made asking if Massive would throw us some freebee's for the down time.

    {□ The differance in the threads, is that this one used the Words "Entitled...and SnowFlake.. and.. Its a Business.. they are here to make Money... etc etc.. blah blah blah□...they same tired name calling when you dissagree with someone)

    I have played since day one. Over all i enjoy the game or i wouldnt still be playing.

    Im also allowed to Voice my Opinion on how a Game xompany should treat its Fans.. Some game xompanies respect.honor and thank their fans and give them free stuff..
    Other companies treat their players like peasants. Do not even appologise for serious issues(nor do the even Fix them). And treat their xustomers like they ate lucky they are "Allowed the privilage of playing their "Property" ... because in video games you dont actuallly Buy the product. You just rent it. The company Owms the product..

    I sisnt expect to get anything from Massive for the 15 hour downtime of survival.. but i do appreciate other game companies that Thank,appreciate and Give free things even for their weekly maitenence. Its nice ti be treates with respect and have a xomoany thabkfull you choose to spend your Time olaying thier game instead of somebody else.

    As i said before.. Video game compabies get so much leeway,back up and support from a portion of their fans.. but thise same fans wouldnt put up with 1/1000 of the stuff they do when it xomes to other Products ..

    If you bought mew HD TV and it had lines acrosss the screen 1/2 the time.. i bet you would want that fixed.replaced. your money back in less than 15 hours.

    If you went out to a restuarant and waited 4 houra to get your meal and asked when its xoming and the waiter just shrugged and said " maybe in another few hours.. maybe by tommorrow..."...im sure you woukd have a diffrent attitude.

    Its only in video games. That a portion of players seem to think of them as some stand alone conpany.... otherxomoanies have Custimer service.

    If my internet serive provider goes down,i can. Call them and speak to a Person about the issue.and work to get it resolved.

    In video games you get "we took down Survival Cause of Reasons.. we will xontinue to update you that it is still an issue....until it gets fixed)

    If i take my car to a mechanic to get my brakes fixed . I drive out and the brakes dont work and i get in an accident.. that Mechanic can be held liable and if someone dies they xould even face manslaughter charges if it turns out they caused the accident becuase of their did not fix the brakes they made them not work at all.

    Think the sirector of the last Jedi Starwars movies stated "Star Wars" doesnt need Male fans... yeah that movie Bombed.

    And a Hand Solo story where they try to force social justice issues with Robots that want equal rights.. Lando Calarisian is Pan sexual and has sex with aliens. Robots. Chickens,rabbits..... Yeah...that lost 100 Million dollars ...

    So yeah these Big Companies like Disney. And EA and Ubisoft can keep treating ayers like dirt... but just like players have stopped watching a d paying to go to NFL games to see abunch of Millionaire's Kneeling agai st a xountry that made them a mlillionare..

    Videogamers. Comc book buyers.. movie goes and Netflix are all feeling the Huge drop in sales as they push agendas and treat their customers like peasants i stead of royalty.. we dont pay to see your movie buy your games. Pay ti watch or see your sports = your bank account starts declining rapidly.
