(Suggestion) can we get some flares for the helicopters | Forums

Just a suggestion specially on Ghost Mode if we can have realistic flares that can be activaded every 60 seconds as a fix to stop us from jumping out while getting hit by anti aircraft and getting ran over by our own chopper.

Absolutely want this. -- Plus, it's totally speccy watching your chopper bank and drop flares, reign of fire.

For example the L1 button on PS4 has no use in flight, that can be used for flares. I'm sure xbox and pc players can agree that they also have buttons not in use.

I know right.. Libertad is basically a shrouded ECM zone, but military aircraft have no ECM.. err, that dog don't hunt..

Add to that, you can lock-on to a enemy chopper and still completely miss without it even moving. Be good if at least it deployed ECM to explain this. -- Which btw, ECM is not a guaranteed evade, but it's better than warp photon torpedoes..

OMG YES...For xbox our left bumper does not have a function when flying. Being able to use flares (even if it is only once a minute) would be so nice. I don't know how many times I have pulled a hard-G turn and dive only to have the SAM follow me step for step. If I had some flares/chaff to pop as soon as I did my bank and dive there is a better chance I may have actually survived.

Certainly the Unidad/Santa Blanca AH-6 Little bird and UH60 Black Hawk should have countermeasures along with the fake AH1Z Viper .

I mean come on for Christ sakes they are military grade helicopters and for them not to have ECM/Flares is ridiculous tbh..:.

This has been requested basically since the beta. Choppers badly need flares or some other countermeasures.

Aircraft countermeasures would have been great to have to unlock in the skills tree. More unlocks in that skill set, the more aircraft flares you can use.

Tbh at this point i would just settle for a ton of this stuff to be implemented in the inevitable Wildlands 2
