(Suggestion) Crossover idea: CAG or DEVGRU

I'd love to see a crossover with other real life tier one units. Delta, CAG, Air Force 24th Special Tactics Squadron, Ranger Reconnaissance company. In my opinion this would be far more preferred than a game crossover.

Additionally, while we are talking crossovers I think a large urban operation would be really cool to see, such as an assault on Libertad city or the city in Barvechos.

As far as I know these ideas haven't been approached yet by the community and are worth exploring. I imagine a lot of people could get behind these ideas.

I'd much rather see an effort put into a mission generator that would add more replayability rather than one-off missions, but I like where you're going as a crossover/theme idea better than the ones we've had so far.

I've always said that I'm just waiting for Ubi to release a GRW themed mission.

I would like that too but I think they've said no to the mission generator idea.

"10. Is there anything in the game that we have been asking for that can't be added?

Some requests would unfortunately require a big overhaul of the game engine, changing our whole approach. For example, a Mission Editor. The same goes for Bloused Boots: if we could simply add it, we would! But it actually requires a huge rework of our Charactersmith, which is also something we can’t envisage right now. But, this doesn’t mean we don’t have a ton of great content coming: our time and effort is being put into something else!"

There is a big difference between a mission editor, like FC5 Arcade Mode, and a mission generator, like the Rida missions in ACO, or even The Division's WSP side missions, even if they are very limited.

Hmm..That's a great detail to point out that I certainly missed. I would be 100% supportive of foregoing a crossover event in favor of a mission generator. However, if it is to be a crossover event, I want it to be delta force or DEVGRU

Yeah, as Mega mentioned, they specifically pointed out "editor" which is quite different. ....which has made some of us wonder if they really understood what was being requested by some.

Anyhow, didn't mean to take away from your thread as that's certainly another topic for another discussion. ....sorry about that LilCJ.

Hey no problem Kean. I think it's something to be pushed for in the future. May not be enough time for SO3 but SO4 for sure.

Would love some urban based missions that are located in some of the bigger city’s in the game. For me they completely missed the mark there with this game, some of the landscape is just crying out to be made as areas to conduct ops but I feel they just reused the same kind of areas to much tbh.

The crossover missions you mentioned get a vote from me too..

Why.. Do you imagine all SF in every country is on the table? -- Honestly, not by a long shot. Even in the US. The ones that are well known is purely due to escalation.

Not saying I'm against the idea, but ya kinda get tired of the constant name dropping.

Not by any means but DEVGRU black squadron, delta force, they rarely get shown in the undercover rolls they undertake. I mean, we got these guys in Iran, DEVGRU black squadron guys mapped out chinese positions, undercover-in china i might add. It's a very unexplored subject in video games. Additionally, their roll in the war on drugs is never shown. Delta force had guys on the ground during the capture of El Chapo. Lets see some of that

Oh, and, they were both involved in the hunt of Escobar, with a persistant rumor that a Delta sniper is the one who actually killed him
