    Super Station Change

Not sure who was upset about the box healing players for ~30% of your health (and being mostly useless in tight areas) but there you go.

I've said it before but a large part of why I got this game was the ability to heal yourself and other players and with the Striker change I'll probably be running Healer for a bit while I find my feet.

I was almost excited for these changes but they always throw in something to ruin the way we currently play, which really makes me question what it means to be good in this game.

It is gong to be even harder on solo players and Healers.

Have they looked at ttbk vs time to release healing skills?

The release & deployment time of standard First Aid is generally too long to receive healing while actively missing health.
(this and other factors contributed to people hitting Booster at the start of combat, forgoing the heal entirely...but somehow healing is a huge issue?
    My 88k Ele says differently)

    Anyway,
All of the guys I know who play COD love these changes.

I always played this game because it specifically wasn't COD and required a different skill set.

    I guess that's just me.

Before 1.8 most players used first aid skill to heal, it meant thinking about electronics and skill haste. This change will once again make people think about their builds and spec into things they currently ignore.

If they fixed the heal and movement we would be back to 1.7 around and around in circles like a dog chasing his tail, and still no better for it.. I liked the game better when you could spec in to health or electronics or weapons or mix them all up..

From my understanding, its not that they have taken away the ability to heal from blowing up the box, just the instant ability to heal yourself. So the longer you leave the box out, the more overheal you get when you blow it up. Im sure its maxed out at the current level but this will keep 90K skill power players from just dropping it and blowing it up instantly which was always dumb IMO anyways.

On paper I like the support station change.
I've always hated that the box can be more powerful than the first aid in sustained and burst heal, and can make you immune to all status effects.
