    End-Game Content...?

I'm a sorta power user by nature. When I start playing a game I play the s*** out of it. I like seeing my names on high leaderboard positions since I achieved that many a time on TC1 Xbox. However that is my only motivation in this game.

Before people say, Yes I have:
    - Completed every event
    - Completed every event on Hard
    - Completed every skill
    - Taken every Photo Op
    - Achieved Icon 450+
    - Spent probably 200+hrs on the game
    - Scored top leaderboard positions on a lot of events, especially Pro Racing & Street Racing events

So it's safe to say I've explored all the content this game has to offer. And for a game proceeding The Crew, why is there so much apparent less stuff?

You could argue that yeah, TC2 has objectively more stuff to do but once 50% of all those things are done, you don't return to them ever again, such as Photo Ops & Skills. You don't gain anything from Skills (maybe a part every 10 skills, F that) so there's no point if you want parts. And to get leaderboard positions you either need a car with max Skill Points multiplier on every part or be a god with a drag car and steering wheel. If you've got none of those it's hopeless. I've been playing for this long and I STILL don't have a car with those parts maxed.

I would log on to TC1 to take part in the summits since they were timed events and I'd miss out if I weren't logged on. I also did a lot of the PvP races but because the matchmaking was literally garbage in every form, from who you matched with to LITERALLY GETTING INTO THE EVENT, I didn't do it that much. There was more in terms of end-game content in TC1 than in TC2 and I hoped Ubi learned from this. I SERIOUSLY want to get in on their design meetings to give ideas but what do I know? I'm just, I don't know, a paying customer who knows what he wants?

What TC2 could do with is more options for higher-skilled players to get bigger better rewards. Timed events with much harder times to achieve, drift events with objectives in the 500,000 range, race AI that keep up with the fastest of racers and so on, and all of these events giving nothing but Epic gear, because they should.Gamemodes that are hard should be rewarded adequately and getting blues & greens from hard events with the 1 in 4 races dropping a purple is not enough. We're putting all this energy into a race without getting rewarded properly and it's getting old fast

Playing in a crew should be rewarded by itself. Why isn't there a bonus for completing events when in a crew?
Because some people could just go AFK and reap bonuses they're not entitled to? Alright, easy fix: The bonuses apply only when ALL crew members achieve the objective (or 1-2-3-4 finish in races), This actually properly rewards people for playing together and encourages it and this is not a subjective opinion: WE NEED THIS.
Maybe also challenges while in a crew, such as do a specific event in a crew for +$ and/or Followers?

These all sound like things to make farming easier. And they are. What, did Ubi honestly expect players to just cruise around and waste time after 100%ing the game? If you can provide a solid counter-argument to getting bigger and better rewards by achieving MUCH harder objectives than exists currently, I'm all ears.

Also Ubi, do you plan to let players test the new content and review new and current features BEFORE a big update occurs?

Could you really argue that this game objectively has more to do than the first game? I mean, I'm not riding the hate train like many around here, but it certainly feels like it had less to do than the first game.

In terms of events, The Crew 2 offers more than The Crew 1:

    The Crew 1: 102 Events (65 Storymissions, 37 Factionsmissions)
The Crew 2: 124 Events, split up as follows:

    Street Racing Family:
    17x Streetraces
    8x Driftevents
    6x Dragraces
    5x Hypercar

    Offroadfamily:
    10x Rally Raid
    8x Moto Cross
    6x Rally Cross

    Freestyle Family:
    10x Aerobatics
    8x Jetsprint
    6x Monstertruck

    Pro Racing Family:
    10x Powerboat
    8x Touringcar
    8x Air Race
    5x Alpha Grand Prix

Also included are 5 Live XTreme Events and 4 Boss Events.
When only counting ground-based events, we have 79 in The Crew 2 (LIVE XTreme and Boss Events excluded also), so this is where The Crew 1 does exceed.

And not: Wild Run and Calling All Units are not included in this list.

Maybe the story-ness of the first game made it feel more substantial. And the various things that pushed exploration.

With all these events, why does the game feel so much more empty? Once you've done every race, that's it. You could argue that was the case with TC1 but it had the Summit after the events. Once every event has been ticked you get the feeling of nothing else to do.

Since the whole game is focused around competition, a tournament style series of events would be great for a game like this. Think about it:

Entry level is Icon 1 minimum
There would be an interface for all 4 families with 2-3 races / events from every discipline in them, perhaps even races exclusive just to this tournament.
You would have the option for Race or Time Attack for relevant events with their own leaderboards, Races will be just PvP, no AI involved.
Much like the League system in TC1, you'd get points if you won and points deducted if you came last. For Time Attacks, you'd get 1/3rd of the points you'd get from races, to stop people exploiting just that for easy points.
There'd be 5 tiers where you'd be ranked based on your points from races, and the top tier would be limited to 100 of the best racers.
Matchmaking would only put you in races with other players that are of the same tier. Much like how Divisions work from FIFA, so you're always among people of similar skill level
The points system will be balanced with points award for 1st place, the amount of points halving for every position beneath it but last place loses points. People who abort events or disconnect will be treated as if they came last. This will stop ragequitting by task-kill. There will be no limit to what points you can get, and with bonus points given to people who compete in every discipline of a family, then for every family on top of that.
The top tier being limited to 100 players will make the competition fierce at the top, with people fighting to stay in the top tier, since that's where the best rewards are, but even better rewards for the highest of the 100.

The whole purpose of this tournament will be to find the King of All Motorsports for every season since, like in Summit, you'd have to do well in every event to keep on top but the difference is, you'd have to keep doing well. The King will be determined by the player who performs the best the most consistently

The Summit didn't always exist in The Crew. It came along with or after the Wild Run expansion. And, really, it quickly lost its lustre. Still, I got more out of it than the worthless cops expansion.
