Button Mapping (controller) with big picture. | Forums

On steam if big picture is on (which i need to have my controller work) It takes away the button mapping option in game for controller configuration. I know I can use Big picture to swap buttons out, but when I do that the button prompts in game do not reflect what I actually need to push.

Is this a bug or is there any work around for it?

To my knowledge, For Honor is not intended to reflect any changes made to button configurations via Steam Big Picture in the in-game prompts. With that said, I do not believe there is a workaround.

Thanks for the response. Is the team aware that when Big Picture is active, The in game button swap menu does not show up? I don't want to swap the buttons via Big Picture, I want to do it in game, but the menu isn't there to swap the buttons. I believe it may be a weird bug and should be recreatable if you want to bring it to their attention.
