I've seen a million threads here saying things like "NERF CENTURIAN PLS" and "How has this character not been nerfed??". Obviously, some people are a lot more frustrated with him as a character than others. However, a common theme seems to be his 'cutscene' on a full charged heavy that drains a decent bit of stamina and does a considerable amount of guaranteed damage. People want to see changes, but the devs seem intent on not messing with him anytime soon. My guess is they'll wait to do those changes until after they release the new heroes and slightly rebalance those, then they'll get to the lawbringer and shugoki reworks, then they MIGHT get to other heroes who need updates.

However, if I had to pinpoint two things in Centurion's kit that need a change, NOT necessarily a nerf, I would go with these two things.

A) The 'cutscene' move needs to be reworked in a way that disables the opponent for less time. Currently, if someone gets hit with the fully charged heavy, they are basically disabled for about 4 seconds, that's an incredibly long amount of time in a teamfight where someone is completely vulnerable to getting smacked by other enemies and it basically guarantees death against a semi-coordinated team. Reducing the overall amount of time someone is disabled to around 2-2.5 seconds (maybe without a knockdown and guaranteeing the same amount of damage another way?) would reduce the frustration with being completely vulnerable.

B) Having 500ms heavies as well as the ability to hold his heavies as long as he wants makes throwing lights absolutely useless since you can easily catch someone who tries to parry with heavies. Make it easier to gb Centurion out of his charged heavies, i.e. make it so all the way up until he releases the heavy he can be gb'd. This ensures that Centurions can't just stand there and turtle by holding their heavies to bait parries/gbs and release them to get free 25 damage. If you're playing against Centurion, you basically have to be aggressive because it's very difficult to gb him and just as difficult to parry him if the player is smart enough to not just let heavies go. In higher level play, Centurions are one of the ultimate turtles simply because of the fact that he can cancel his charging heavies with either a hard feint or a gb, making him one of the safest characters to turtle with aggressively.
