What was Ubisoft thinking
Am I the only person disappointed by this waste of money on dlc?
I personally didn't like the first two content drops because of how boring they were and there wasn't any incentive to replay them
This was Ubisofts chance to take a concept and really nail it by adding SURVIVAL HORDE
Why in the ever living F*CK WOULD WE NEED SCORE ATTACK.
you're telling me , you want us to replay the same story set pieces to try to get above a certain score in a certain time? That's beyond monotonous and adds no real reason to play after completing the chapter.
You have perfect settings and AI plus zombies types , in this dlc to really make the perfect horde style games and threw that opportunity away. And I'd like to understand why
I thought zombies would actuallu redeem purchasing the pass but it really didn't.
Can someone please explain why there isn't survival. When gamers hear " zombies" they think survival horde. This was an absolute waste of time and money and I really hope I get to refund this pass or I'm taking up a false advertisement suit.
When it's advertised , " 7 different zombie scenarios " the average person or gamer would assume 7 basic zombie maps to survive on with buddies.
I'm not saying completely copy call of duty but c'mon. You guys aren't even trying z people bought the pass ahead of time and you all have development resources and, our money.
while the maps we're stellar there's no reason to play beyond the lackluster , half- A*ssed story.
Thanks Ubisoft. I'll never purchase a pass , or far cry game if this is the road you guys are taking.
While I sure one person doesn't matter to you, Im sure many are as disappointed
By not this but all 3 dlc drops.
What did you all expected ? That is will be amazing DLC ? Another stupid zombies crap witch is overrated ? Obviously your expectations have been too high
Also that is what you get buying/paying for game content that has not been released yet and not reviewed.
Obviously did not learn from Gold edition of GRW and how bad the Narco roads DLC was.
I have learned that long time ago, never buying Gold edition. The season pass can be brought later cheaper, when finally all content gets released.
Pretty much all the DLC content for FC5 has been a disappointment. Zombies was just the icing to a complete let down. Should have done DLC content that was integral to the main map and was added to the overall game, as done in FC3 and 4. And the game load times are horrible. I can't recall the last time I played a game that takes 5 minutes to load just to get to the main menu.
If I could get my money back on this game and the season pass, I wouldn't hesitate.
Same here. Far Cry 5 DLC is an utter disappointment to me.
The moment Ubi announced what the DLC would be, I instantly regretted getting the gold edition, even with the discount it had at the time. Disconnected from the main game, going of on some tangent that has very little to do with Far Cry. People were excited, maybe it could turn out to be a new Blood Dragon and show some fresh new ideas.
But it didn't now did it?
The result is a big heap of uninspired and unoriginal drivel, so disconnected from the main story its leaves a bad taste. Pointless and put together at a minimum of effort and cost. It feels like some Arcade levels cobbled together, utter tripe and not fun to play either. People payed the price of half a full game for this? You should be ashamed, Ubisoft.
I will no longer 'trust' Ubisoft to deliver DLCs. Forget gold editions, forget season passes. No more.![]()
It would’ve been better if they populated all of Hope County with zombies and given us missions to clear badly infested areas, save people in distress, deliver emergency supplies, etc., similar to Red Dead Redemption. Speaking of RDR, I’m now wondering if it’s worth it to get the special edition of Red Dead Redemption II coming out in a couple of months.
Anyway, I learned my lesson not to purchase the gold/special edition of the next Far Cry game (Far Cry 6?). It’s better to wait and if the dlc is worth it next time based on reviews and user comments, get the season pass when the price drops. I do have to admit I did enjoy the Vietnam dlc a little. It was a somewhat tense escape which I wish had lasted a little longer. Mars fell flat and not even Hurk’s presence could save it. This one was the icing to this meh dlc cake.
