    PK's deflect is essentially useless

    C'mon. Let us break through HA, make it faster so that a Shinobi can't light attack and interrupt me half way through the animation. Maybe have it do some decent damage, or give her a free follow up hit after successfully landing it? <- that could an "opener" for her. PK's deflect is a joke and everyone knows it. Why not buff it for her "rework"?

    I feel they need to overhaul deflect as a whole. It's supposed to be a viable means of mitigating damage similar to parry, but specific to assassins. Forever it falls far short of parry in most regards outside of maybe berserker deflect.

    If it's going to have such a high risk factor it needs to have a reward to justify. Currently I can't think of any scenario for deflect where you wouldn't be better just parrying the attack.

    I know this is an old post but i want to throw an idea out there for all assasins why not change deflect to have different input like HL and Warden crushing counterstrike this would make the deflect less clunky to do. I made a post about deflect and somebody said that another change could be putting earlier start frames on it but i dont know how to explain it.

    PK Deflect does very good Damage, but it is, as you said, impractical to use because of the amounts of Hyperarmor in the game. You almost always trade with it which makes it totally trash compared to parry.

    Deflects should ignore HA and stagger always. Just like Zerker Deflect always ends in a guaranteed GB.

    Shinobi has probably the other better deflect. It's on par with berserker, but it's still not as rewarding as parry.

    You can feint a heavy to prevent yourself from being baited into a bad move. You cannot feint a dodge. You can also fun if you are parried, which is not possible from a dodge.

    Parry gives you rewards based on the attack mitigated, where as deflect has only one value regardless of how difficult the initial attack you deflected was to react to.
