This MOD was originally Trans-Atlantic Radio and consisted of two stations, RRG and DHB. Together they were Trans-Atlantic Radio. Size limitations at the download site available necessitated splitting it into two parts.

You can download DHB DOWNLOAD HERE
    And RRG DOWNLOAD HERE
You may then add either to your radio folder and edit the radio.ini as described below.
    </span>
This is a production of the ZKMT (Zoo Keepers Modding Team) of the Ubi Forum

This MOD adds two radio stations to Silent Hunter 4. It will work with any version of the game from 1.0 to 1.5 (U-boat Add On). The MOD consists of two Radio Stations, RRG and DHB Radio. Together, with their Support Directory, they constitute Trans-Atlantic Radio.

RRG is a representation of Radio Berlin. It has authentic German language broadcast clips scheduled to play in the game as the dates are reached. In between broadcasts the radio plays German martial tunes and service songs (Lieds) and some beer drinking music. There are, however, a couple of Easter Eggs in the song list and one of the events. I'm sure one will delight "Das Boot" fans. The station begins events on September 10,1939 and continues to May 1, 1945. It is a world wide station. If you use one of the Setup MODs in the Support Directory it will be heard on Frequency 44.

DHB is a representation of the English language broadcasts from Germany aimed at the Allies. There are clips from the "America First" movement and isolationist's speeches that play up until Pearl Harbor that were rebroadcast from Germany. There are some "Axis Sally", "Lord Haw Haw" shows and "Charlie and His Orchestra". Charlie was a native German musician that played song parodies that mocked the Allies. There is .jpeg of an advertisement for his band in the Support folder. There is also an Easter Egg or two in this station. The station begins events on September 10,1939 and continues to May 1, 1945. It is a world wide station. If you use one of the Setup MODs in the Support Directory it will be heard on Frequency 57.

The MOD can be downloaded three different ways. All three have the same Support folder.
Trans-Atlantic Radio (Rel_SH4_Trans_Atlantic_Radio) has both stations and the Support folder. If you use this one you do not need the ones below. The size is around 765 meg expanded. Download from any site below.

dgrayson's download site: Download Trans-Atlantic Radio
Yooperbacker's download site: Download Trans-Atlantic Radio
tuddley3's download site Download Trans-Atlantic Radio Part 1 and 2

RRG Radio (Rel_SH4_RRG_Radio_Only) only contains that station and the Support folder. The size is around 350 meg expanded. Download from any site below.
dgrayson's download site: Download RRG Radio Only
Yooperbacker's download site: Download RRG Radio Only

DHB Radio (Rel_SH4_DHB_Radio_Only) only contains that station and the Support folder. The size is around 415 meg expanded. Download from any site below.
dgrayson's download site: Download DHB Radio Only
Yooperbacker's download site: Download DHB Radio Only

Added September 29,2008: readme in German: Download liesmich auf Deutsch

The MODs are designed to be enabled with JSGME. It will be a simple process.
Download and extract the MOD to your MODS folder.
Open the Support folder and move the Setup MOD of your choice to the MODS folder. Enable the Radio Station MOD, then enable the Setup MOD.

You do not need to be in Port.
The MOD is compatible with all the major Supermods, like TMO and RFB. The enabling order does not matter.

If you have other radio MODS, do not use the Setup MODs. Instead, enable the Station MOD and alter your radio.ini (C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Sound\Radio\radio.ini) as follows:

Add to the end of the radio.ini and save.

    [CHANNEL]

    Antenna=01.01.1930-05.12.1945: 52.50, -13.45:100000

This is Great news!!! I never installed RADIO MODs because the process was too complex for me. I'm strictly a JSGME man...

I'll now install all three of these "Frequencies"

Is there a way to JSGME-ize the other stations (American, hawaii, etc)??

    Thanks

It's a fairly quick and easy process. Which stations do you want set up?
I could probably knock one out in about ten minutes with the right info.
Send me a Private Message with the readme from the MOD you want to add and what you want the frequencies to be and I'll make a custom one for you or anyone else who needs the help.

Glad to see I'm not the only radio modder still out there. It's been so lonely...

Just out of curiosity, why did you choose September 10th as the start date?

Don't be lonely, the ZKMT is always with you. We have further plans.

Wanted to make sure everyone was at sea.

A readme in German, liesmich auf Deutsch, has been added to the first post.
Here is a repeat of the link: Download liesmich auf Deutsch
Downloads from Celeon999's site have this in the Support folder. The others do not as of yet.

The German Pocket Battleships and merchant raiders were all at sea well before September 1st. I assume the u-boats were too, so unless the game won't let you start before a certain date, you could've used an earlier date.

I was the mechanic for this one. As I don't play the U-boat side I was unsure of the possible start dates in the game play MODs.

We played it safe. The music starts right away, the events begin on 10SEP39
