Supposed to loose or keep Ghost Mode rewards?

Upon my characters death I lost the Exoskeleton spine, however I've heard other people have kept their rewards upon their character dying.
Which is supposed to happen, and if I'm experiencing a bug how would I go about getting this fixed?

I've been wondering this myself I'm at about 68% completion on my first attempt at ghost mode and starting to make me super nervous since I completed all of smuggling and production and have moved onto security next...

Anything you unlocked (view the Ghost Mode screen) will forever be unlocked. You don't need to do it with one character. You can do it with as many as you like. You get one piece per department destabilised 100%, the Helmet as soon as you kill Sueno, silver shade at lvl30 and gold shade upon reaching T1.

This is because each Buchon and reward gives you Prestige Credits (PC's) to spend on Prestige crates. You can therefore only do them once no matter how many characters, to stop you farming PC's by taking out Buchons.

That said. I hit T1 with my 4th character yesterday. As I was in the middle of a fire fight which killed him (awesome nitro-powered, glitch-kill, literally SC 4x4's slamming into buildings!). The KIA screen popped up without a prompt from me, no down animation, dumped straight to KIA. I didn't get the gold shade, so I think you have to wait a few seconds for it to trigger.

The Ghost Mode rewards shouldn't be locked again after death, but the team is aware that this issue can occur and is looking into it.

In Security, the only thing you have to watch out for most, is the General Baro Ambush. Last mission in Flor De Oro. Make sure you prepare. It's better to do Baro and Wagner early in the game as they both have unavoidable fire fights associated, that come on you very fast. The Wagner trap was the one that got my T1.

Even by T1 standard (which I play all the time) 4x4's being used at you like missiles, is a bit much. I was trying to get Wagner to a vehicle for extraction.

For General Baro just drive a really heavy vehicle like a hummer or armoured SUV up the back of the logging camp, bring it up right next to Baro's unique armoured lorry, get out, call max rebels, grab Baro and throw him in your vehicle as he tries to run to his, and tear off towards the extraction point. Just be prepared to run the **** away after the extraction cutscene because if you don't lose your alert level Unidad will be waiting for you when you get out.

For Wagner grab his assistant and put him in the chopper on the roof, extract him to the middle of the main mine canyon, interrogate him there, you get a timer but have plenty of time to kill everyone around Wagner who is like a hundred metres away, place the chopper right next to Wagner's building, get him out of his interrogation chair, put him in the chopper, go.

Heck.... I'm in the process of re-downloading 14GB worth of patch and locked assets. Now I feel burned reading this.

I can't get withing 50' of Baro from full cover and concealment and he runs.

As for Wagners assistant. That's where I got 4x4 missile barrage. Like literally slamming into the shed, the moment I freed him. Had a helo waiting at the rear entry of the shed. So I only had to move the sukka 10m max. These 4x4's were coming in from everywhere. Dude, I was the head shot hero of a lifetime and still got hit. No idea what triggered that.

I've mentioned before about the 600% incoming vehicle speeds, but nothing like this ever happened before.. Never seen this before.

Great. Now I'm super super nervous, though I did get through baro a lot of it was due to getting lucky with finding a civ heavy duty truck on the road because they did the ram into my truck until it was disabled thing, while dodging helicopters...I'm just starting on the last security area maybe when I get to Wagner I need to recruit me some high end ghost mode players 8p
