i mean come on what a **** hero in the bottom of the list now
rip raider mains
why rework warden he was b+ tier with his vortex he didnt need a rework as bad as raider and shogu
now raider is always at disadvantage against all hero's besides shogu
raider low key getting nerfed all the time with these updates without them devs know since the no gb after parry till today
every update takes something away ,
i see almost all hero's have the ability to dodge and counter guardbreak now like raider wtf thats his unique move not anymore
free damage moves HA unreactable lights faster bashes ,, its becoming a guess game and spam not reacting but rather button smashing
while raider got nothing but super slow moves that its ezzzzz to parry, a zone takes my stamina away if parried
i'm dropping this game when the Chinese hero's releases
clueless devs
Meh, I've played raider exclusively during my time here, and from my own experience and from watching all the rep 50 raiders, he just needs a buff rather than a rework. The design of raider is actually pretty good, he's a tactician that relies on throwing off his opponents and then punish them.
The only issue is that some of his most punishing moves can be cancelled through light attacks or GB. Even his zone attack can be GB'd.
IMO raider should receive hyper armor during his enhanced zone attack. Then I believe he's fine.
I have also been a heavy raider player but I do switch to his as equally hated brother warlord. Their are a few things that I have that erk my nerves as a raider player like the whole heavy is to slow to parry. Ok over come the parry issues with a quick light tap. He really can't dodge at all. Ok then I unlock and roll if enough stamina and not many people around. If crowded use zone it may not hit right target but even a minion hit stops stamina loss. However there seems to me a huge huge issue with the current spam attackers and me blocking them at all.
What is this issue that raider actually takes time to switch the axe around before he blocks. Now it might not seem like a big deal to lose how ever many millisecond to do so at first but after let's say 10 block attempted those milliseconds start to become tenths.
Now in real life and in the game they made butt caps. And in this game everyone of the butt caps has some type of sharp pointy part shooting out some place. Why don't the raider just utilize the other end of his shaft to block like normal. Or is the whole baton twirlin sloppy slow poke routine exactly what was intended
