The matchmaking in ranked duels and the community.

Basically, the new ranked duel system is somehow worse than the simple duel system. I ALWAYS get matched with someone whose reputation is nearly above 50 or even more, and I am reputation 7. It's extremely annoying, and the Your skill system is broken AF. Like I'm reputation 7 the enemy is reputation 19 and somehow my skill is on par with his, and then I get killed. I can't leave because when I press Find New Opponent it just matches me with the same opponent three time in a row.

Dominion isn't helping either, I always get teamed up on, same is with brawl.

And the community, oh the community, they are always salty. Always. There is always that one idiot who calls the other team noobs or something even worse.

And it happened to me recently in brawl, I got teamed up on and killed, so I wanted to take revenge, so next round I defeated my enemy and went for my teammates enemy.
For some unknown reason my teammate started spamming Wow! and Sorry in the Chat. And the he started attacking me with zone attacks and emote spam. and when I got killed, he got killed too after me.

I guess I just need a rest from all of this, I guess I'll reinstall when Marching Fire comes out.

I liked my placement matches. They felt tough/challenging but fair. every ranked match i've had beyond that (admittingly I haven't done many but still) felt waaaaaay harder. It really felt like I was fighting people just leagues ahead of me. Which is the first time i've ever had it happen to me in this game.

So the matchmaking formula for ranking needs work, I was placed in the wrong tier, or the pool of players in my tier are so small that the difference in skill level is huge.

For the last time, REPUTATION =/= skill

doesn't matter if you are high rep or not, that only shows how much of your life you waste on the game, i have rep 18 and beat rep 127, so what?

It pairs based on MMR, if you want to see how it works search it, it's a chess 1vs1 system.

The problem with this is that there is another variable not taken into account in the MMR. Hero tiers.

Some heroes have a lot tougher match ups vs some and so forth. Let's say if I play Warlord and all I face is Conqs, Shamans and Shinobis. How hard a time aren't I going to have ranking up?

Uhm, yeah, well, that's nothing ANY MMR based system uses as an additional indicator. And why should it? You pick your hero yourself. Pick something that is good or at least average in every possible matchup and you are fine. If you take something out of the "B-Tier" - your choice.

My point was that with chess you have a leveled playing board, but with For Honor you don't. I agree that everyone should only play the A-tier heroes if they want to rank up.
