Counter guard breaking during mid dodge? | Forums

Before I saw only warden and orochi doing it but now everyone can counter guardbreak mid dodge even whilst on no stamina? I knew raider could do this whilst on stamina since it was part of his moveset, buw whats the point of raider then and other characters that rely on this mechanic? A light attack after an unblockable attack is pointless since the enemy would be able to block it or even parry it. They have a 100% guranteed safe action. Was this in patch notes? Am i wrong?

And it appears its irregular (it happens in 50% of games) so maybe its a bug?

I'm pretty sure it's a bug since all kinds of glitchy things have been happening since season 7 started...

I've been noticing this too. It's happened since dodge recovery was normalized. Could be a bug.

Consider yourself lucky because guard breaks shut me down completely. They interrupt my heavies, my lights and even my guard breaks. I can consistently parry lights but have never once countered a guard break. If i initiate a guard break and then my opponent initiates one, he wins and gets the gb. If he initiates first and then i do, he wins and gets the gb. I've even had light attacks consistently interrupted by guard breaks and not from characters with HA that can do that but with everyone. What sucks is that it only seems to happen to me. If i try to cgb with a light attack, their gb still lands and interrupts my attack. If i initiate a light, their gb can be used on reaction to gb me. Even if i spam the button to holy hell i will not counter the gb. The only time i can counter one is agaisnt a bot in 1v1. If i'm playing a team mode against bots, even the bots can interrupt my lights with a gb.

The worst part is that i've been asking for help on various websites and forums and nobody has ever responded. I'm not even getting the typical "git gud."

Don’t expect from players they will not abuse ! U throw them a bone they will take it and then play with it . Why are you making such a poor moves ubi ? You are not going to be able to fix this u just adding problems . Too many exploit moves .

I experienced this kind of issue many times. When I play Raider and use UB cancel into GB I catch players in mid dodge many times still they can CGB sometimes its really annoying.

I'm finding Wardens GB from SB don't land either. They always seem to come up short and leave me open to a GB myself. Really annoying tbh. Must just be my timing but I find myself not using his SB much anymore because of it.
