I really like the new ghost mode.
What I wouldn’t mind seeing is some sort of CASEVAC that swoops in raining lead and scoops you up. In the event that your character goes down while playing solo ghost mode.
As others have said, there are a lot of stupid ways to die in the wildlands universe. I died while riding a motorcycle. I hit a rock, went flying and because I was attempting to play solo. It was game over, create a new character.
So I would suggest some kind of a respawn that you could earn while playing through the game. Or maybe use prestige points.
This is to funny, everyone loves the new GM and PD but all of them want just a little bit of a chance to NOT loose everything when they die... that is the issue with putting PD with GM only and not giving the options wanted by the community to the main game... the bugs and glitches that nobody cared before or people claimed they were not bothered by them or were not life and death matters turn out to be now with PD on. But hey, don't lose faith amigos, Operation Health is coming soon and all of your worries will soon be over.
Other have said that one needs to avoid all of those things that caused death... imagine that!
Others are avoiding to do anything but the most basic thing just to get a prize that is purely cosmetic, and for that they are turning into masochists. No, wait, a L33t Masochist but Macho with all your peeps is what it makes you turn into... I do have to tip my hat to UBI or whomever came up with that sort of pain=gratification=fun thing as it seem most people are loving it.
And others (me included) claim UBI is not listening to the community... blasphemy!

I think everything you’re saying about it, ie; people playing it to get a cosmetic is not entirely true. While I agree that a lot of players may be wanting to achieve the exo suit others are playing it for the extra risk that is associated with PD and are actually just enjoying seeing how long they can last before the inevitable. You see it’s the way that a person approaches the mode and the permadeath feature that will determine whether they have fun or not.
If you just want to play for a cosmetic then you’re right, it’s probably not that fun and you’ll not overly enjoy the experience altogether. I literally was bored with the main campaign as after being Tier 1 and playing no hud I needed something a little more, something a bit dangerous,something a bit scary and something unpredictable lol. For that reason i got what I wanted with this new mode and it’s a shame it hasn’t appealed to everyone although I guess it’s not like everyone’s forced to play it after all.
nobody ever cried this much in far cry primal for god's sake. turn off the audio dialog since you're by yourself. they already gave a 50% booster throughout the story, you still have teleport bases... you die that's your fault. you all play as sniper and drone warriors on pvp..learn to play it on pve.. you won't die. and if you really think you can tier one by yourself without dying you might as well give the game up cuz it aint gonna happen.
this is damn good options. i wish i saw this before i ranted lol.i agree with the character pool or skill settings. fallen ghosts and narco had level 30 or halfway there already accessible. ghost mode should have everything unlocked andlimited by the size of your team, more if if you equip mates or less if just you.
Ubisoft, please fix Ghost mode with this simple step: When dying, you lose all skills, but not the game progression. The operative dies but the mission goes on with another operative, who has 0 skills but game progression and found guns etc. are intact. You completed missions and killed enemies, why should that be reset? You just lose the operative. This is the possibility the RPG-style progression system presents to Ubisoft, will they use it?
This would be THE best game-mode for Wildlands! The fear of death is always present, but it's not the end of all. Beatable if given time, dedication and skill, not just by getting in-game upgrades through progression. The fear of losing the created character and all skills would make things much more tense, which is perfect for a Clancy-game, no?
This mode with the game progression saved wouldn't give the same rewards (as the Ghost-mode with "permadeath&progresslosing" does). But it would be the best way to play Wildlands. As there are bugs and glitches in the game, losing ALL progress due to a bug seems totally unreasonable. Losing just a character due to a bug is sad (or potentially funny), but bearable.
This update would give Wildlands the final spark it still needs. It's such a good game already, so please take this easy and short step to make the game rules even better!
