The Heuy is an amazing aircraft with a big service record in many armed forces. Not only would it be a unique addition, it would also add a piece of history to the game. Not to mention that it’s an aircraft that would be easily attainable for a country such as Bolivia. Please help to bring this to the developers. Thank you.

The devs would have to secure licensing rights from Bell Helicopters in order to add it in the game which may cost lots of money so the best option is to add a helicopter that vaguely resembles it, just like what GTA V did.

I think that's the intention of the OPs request. ....and I agree. It makes more sense to me especially considering that they are currently in service with their air force and that they can be found nearly everywhere in the world as Dark mentioned. .....making them way more accessible to the likes of Santa Blanca and Unidad vs. what is supposedly a Blackhawk IMO.

This isn't all out war, yet. High maintenance aircraft wouldn't make any sense, unless you want that yo 'murica 'nam fix. Let's keep it in perspective. That's why the little birds are there.

Only UNIDAD (which use the Blackhawks) or the regular Armed forces would have them anyway. What would be good is if the Blackhawks had the proper speed for such a huge power plant. In real life they hook like mad, that's why they replaced the huey's. They're really fast, have plenty of grunt to carry large ordinance and can seat 12 and carry up to 15 people.

the Modern Bell UH-1 doesn’t require to much maintenance after a flight hence the reason it’s still used also it only cost roughly $960k US Dollars to manufacture a brand new UH-1 where as the UH-60 cost around $21.3 million US Dollars.

Pster is probably talking about the Huey II or Bell 412. These are some of the most used utility helicopters in the world. These as well as the Mil 8 and 17 would be far more logical helicopters in the game. Blackhawk derivatives aren't even commercially available (excluding the Firehawk for firefight/SAR and so on). Blackhawks are military helicopters and would be very normal for UNIDAD to have (but the Bells are cheaper) and SBC would definately rock Hueys or Mil8/17 and maybe even a Mi-24/35 variants (Hind gunship with the ability to transport 8 troops).

Lol, omfg you guys!.. For the roles these aircraft play in this game (it's a GAME). The Blackhawks are the multi-role standard that fits.

In 1989 when I first joined, Iriquois were that standard along with Chinooks you all see in movies. By 1998 they were replaced by the Blackhawks, for most operations. For a variety of reasons. -- I didn't say Iriquois don't get used at all, and yes, they are high maintenance aircraft. Not for the Air force that maintain them for militaries, obviously.

Lastly, what makes you all (or anyone else) think price matters? FYI, the military couldn't care less how much it spends IF the thing they're buying does the job. They'd much rather spend 30 million on aircraft that tick all their box requirements; than 1 million because there's a cheaper option that just doesn't hold up for all their needs. Money isn't an object for them. They get enormous annual budgets. -- Also, the Russians don't just hand out gunships. There was a period in the 90's where they were upgrading their air force and older models were sold off, that's about it.

There's a reason why I'm ignoring all the factoids, man. Try to understand they don't have any baring on what I'm relating. I could care less if the games devs want to waste time building Iriquois for you or not.
