Yes I agree knight we will all have to get use to her rework but for me I dont think I can even play her anymore. And yes i may be a ***** but after other character reworks the character still felt like that character. Conq still felt like Conq, Orochi still felt like orochi just on speed, Warden still feels like warden but in valkyrie’s case she doesnt feel like a valkyrie anymore im sorry 😕 The reason I picked valk as one of my mains was because she had a very unique move set and hidden tech and was this big powerful female viking and if you ****ed up fighting her you would get sent flying across the room. Those characteristics made her so fun to play as and the fact they took all of her identity and unique moves away from her just so she can be ‘meta’ is sad and disappointing and it now sucks having her on your team because she stops teamate executions and trips ****ing everyone lol but i do admit its really funnyOriginally Posted by Knight_Raime Go to original post
When me and my friend tested Valk and Warden rework yesterday, I told him, that I will see a lot of "You nerf and broke my char" threads around forum. I never thought, that this could happend, but I was compleatly wrong about devs plans.=)
I thought they will made Valky new OP, cause a lot of people made threads about how weak she was. And I expected, that we will see same post as about Kensei and Conq after season 5 and Rochi after season 6. Nerf it! Stop it!
But, instead, dev team made a great job I should say.
I have a fight with Valky in Dominion, and this was compleatly different. No more waiting in full block, no more infinite sweep combo. Now this character, who should think, what she is doing.=)
Same with Warden. My first thought was "They nerfed him", but after an hour of practice, I should say he is a good fighter now. So much thing to do, so much options, no more shoulder bash or die. So cool.
You guys just need to get used to new reworks. That's all.=)
My biggest issue is the moving of the sweep to GB instead of a Back-Heavy. Now after the 2nd strike from a Valk all someone has to do is side dodge. This will dodge an attack or the sweep. I liked having the ability to do a GB after the 2nd strike because people would always just try to dodge that sweep and I could catch them. Now with sweep moved to GB, the finisher can just always be avoided with a dodge whether it be a strike or a sweep.
Just fully agree with you on.that. no more To sayOriginally Posted by SpaceJim12 Go to original post![]()
