[PS4]No Faction War Troops Rewarded After Matches | Forums

My apologies if this is in the wrong place or done in the wrong way, this is my first time posting on the Forums.

I've been enjoying the new patch, especially the "Realistic Elimination" Event, but I've noticed a problem with my Faction War participation, and I wanted to know if anyone else on playing on PS4 has has similar issues. Since the start of the new season, I haven't been able to earn a single soldier for Faction War, regardless of what mode I play, or whether I have my Banner down. My "Troops Deployed" number reads 0, despite several matches in the "Realistic Elimination" Event, as well as some Duels and the odd Dominion match I've played since the patch dropped.

Now, to be upfront, I don't have PlayStation Plus at the moment, so I've been restricted to Bot Matches, but during Season 6 that didn't seem to matter, as Troops were awarded after every match regardless of type or whether they were part of an event. I had PS Plus for a small time during Season 6, where I played a couple of Brawl Matches with a friend, and both of us had no issue getting troops out of those matches.

So, my question is, did something change for Season 7? I looked over the Patch Notes, but I couldn't find anything about Faction War Troops only being awarded to Player vs. Player matches, and I just want to know whether this is some rules change I'm not aware of, or whether its another issue.

The faction war is exclusively multiplayer so you not having ps plus is probably the reason. Get ps plus and you should be able

I know that Faction War is for multiplayer; but during Season 6, selecting "Players vs. AI" in the different playlists still awarded Troops for completing the match, even when I didn't have PS Plus during Season 6, either. What I'm curious about is whether that changed for Season 7, or if its just a glitch, as orders can still be completed through "Players vs. AI" matches made through multiplayer. I only started playing back in June, so I've only been active this last season, but I still managed to contribute to Faction War without having PS Plus, so it seems strange that circumstances would change part way though. Heck, I was still able to contribute to the Off-Season. I'm getting the AI matches from the multiplayer menu, so I was under the impression that it should still work.

Hi there, it's to bad Ubisoft have not responded yet, because i think it's a bug. Deploying troops was never exclusive PvP multiplayer, i always received troops, and i play exclusively PvAI.
I can still move my warbanner, but no troops are awarded and/or deployed.
There is nothing in the patchnotes about this, so it has to be a bug. Im on ps4 (Viking-Faction)

I've had the same problem all weekend since the Season 7 Storm and Fury update this past Friday (8/3/2018). I opened a Ubisoft Support ticket earlier today (8/6/2018) detailing the specifics and uploading screenshots and video. Ubisoft Support said they escalated the request and are investigating it. They also referenced to look into the support forums for any fixes to the problem, hence why I'm here right now.

I think it's a bug as well because their are other problems I've encountered along with the troop rewards. My customization screen for the hero on specific body parts drops tons of frames. This also started this past Friday, lending to the bug theory more than the straight-up getting patched-out of troop rewards for PvAI matches. Hope it gets fixed soon because one of my big motivations is playing with others and contributing to the faction war.

Hopefully this sheds a little light on the situation, but I have yet to find a solution to this bug/error/problem. If I get any other responses or an actual bug fix I will update this thread as soon as possible.

Both the appearance menu FPS issue and this troops issue have been reported. At this time I am not aware of them being connected. Please note that I have asked the team if receiving troops while playing against bots is intended, and I am waiting for a reply.

Thank you for looking into it, it's much appreciated. I feel like that was an important component of the game for a large group of players who don't enjoy playing PvP. Earning troops, even though the reward was less than people who played PvP, it still provided motivation for PvE players to invest more of their time in the game.

Just wondering how the investigation is going. I still am not receiving any troop rewards after matches. It's been 10 days and would like to hear if any headway has been made in regards to this issue.
