It is no longer possible to cancel Shield Tackle with a back dodge.

While reading other players' comment on these forums, it seems it is no longer possible to cancel Shield Tackle with ANY KIND OF DODGE.

If so, is it a bug or are the patch note not accurate ?

It says in the patch notes that you have to press b when in full block stance to cancel it

Now you can just delete your shield tackle while still in full block stance for caming back in guard. That's all .

Cant anymore side dash or let it fly for top dash etc .. plus once you let it fly, you are stopped if hit by your opponents and anyway no knock down anymore.

Overall her rework is good but you gonna have to forget this moove from now.. became totally unusefull.

yea its better i think this way. just cancel like any other move you would cancel.

The problem is that you have to keep holding the GB button to hold that stance while at the same time hit the Cancel button. They either need to bring back the dodge to cancel or there needs to be a 100ms window that the shield charge can be "feinted" so its not completely awkward to to cancel out of it on controllers.

yea its better i think this way. just cancel like any other move you would cancel.

I gess you never play valk. . It removes a part of her mix up by canceling it with dash for attack of gb before ..
