When you were thinking of removing the warden shield bash to guardbreak mix up, did you even think of the problems it would cause?, ppl can just dodge sideways, that's it, wardens shield bash is now useless unless you get pll who doesnt dodge, which is NONE in the higher tiers, this has become a problem for warden mains because the only good move from the hero has been taken away, all us warden mains can do is cancel the bash and get some lights in the enemy. I hope you fix this

They said you still want to level for the visuals, what changes is the options you have available. If someone just likes and wants the first three all they have to do is get to purple gear (plus get the appropriate gear and fully upgrade it, upgrades will matter with this system) and that there would be no power loss for choosing that over two of the latter. From perks I noticed from Den, it's really could change game for good. No revenge bilds anymore, nothing that allow to abuse game mechanics. I just want to point out that the new Valkyrie update is absolutely garbage.
This was not a buff it was a nerf.
Discussing the shield bash:
The shield bash no longer charges up and knocks back opponents when charged up. It barely taps them back and you get 1 light attack. WOW great job Ubisoft. Not only that but when entering the shield bash you no longer have the full guard when moving back. You only have the full guard when you are all the way back and COMPLETELY stopped, which allows enemy attacks to take you out of shield bash mode, knocking you back before you even fully enter it.
Shield bash did not need a nerf, here's why. It was super easily counterable by simply timing up a side step, which on top of all the other negative aspects listed above enemies can still do.
Also ranting about it only cancels a heavy attack now instead of being able to be put it into a combination with a heavy attack. Seriously? WOW you have us "more combos" that technically already existed if you hit the buttons in that order.
Discussing the speer sweep:
Its great that now you can do a heavy attack after a speer sweep. Fantastic, except most people don't use that, they dash forward with a pouncing thrust and start another combination like a skilled player would.
The Valkyrie didn't need a faster heavy even though it is a really cool perk, it has it's negative side effects. Like no chain started and the damage isn't that great for a heavy attack (coming from a heavy attack based gear score even).
While these many NERFS are very frustrating, the worst most horrible part is that the speer sweep is now the guard break button!!!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Let me explain why this is awful. The only benefit this has is when ram headbut happenes, you can tap X AGAIN to sweep. That is the only benefit. A good Valkyrie would use the spear sweep as a combo finisher and it is incredibly hard to do now that it is the X button as the guard break. Instead of keeping both thumbs on the joysticks and moving the pointer or middle finger whichever you prefer down onto RT, and down on the left joystick, you now have to take your thumb off of the guard joystick and press X at the end of a combo. This is incredibly frustrating because it is different for one, and I believe the original option was way easier and took less time to execute the sweep on the controller end (maybe not the in game, but still), but it is very frustrating because a Valkyrie was designed to be able do defend against multiple enemies and by switching off of the guard joystick in multiple combat, the second combatant can attack you and you have no guard up. That is incredibly frustrating.
The Valkyrie was supposed to get better and it got worse drastically. I get it you want to balance it out blah blah blah. I main Valkyrie and it was crucial that I held points and kept multiple enemies pushed back while my team were the hit and run specialists. I can't even play the Valkyrie anymore with such a huge NERF!!!!!
I was legendary with the old Valkyrie style and me and my team were really awesome. Each was a piece to the puzzle that was great and you have screwed up our entire team comp by "Buffing" "making better" blah blah blah the Valkyrie. Horrible work Ubisoft. I was really getting back into the game and you messed it all up.
