New Game Mode: Cage Tournament (8 players)

Since the beginning I have seen complaints about the time that takes a full tournament with all the necessary duels.

My suggestion is to create a new mode where the eighth participants spawn at the same time in one single map.

The initial part of the map will contain 4 separated sections (A,B,C,D), like cages or limited areas, where In each of them a duel 1vs1 will be held. Sections A and B have gates to access to a new section E, these gates will open once both areas have winners (recovering HP to full). Similar will happen with area C and D that lead to section F.

Finally section E and F will open their gates to last section G, where the final duel will be held.

Defeated players will have the chance to become spectators of any of the players alive.

If this mode could be implemented I think it would be faster and it only requires one load time for the whole tournament.

Actually due to the speed I would suggest that it is played 3 times, at the end the player with the higher number of kills will win the tournament (killing enemies is what make you get higher positions in the tournament). In case of tie an extra match could be played.

The concept of “cage” is only to ensure the 1vs1 in all the duels.

This is just a base idea, suggestions are welcome

Actually a smaller tournament of 4 players could be easier to implement. Two initial sections A and B, and a final duel in section C.

easier because with 3 rounds we can make each player to face the other 3 in the initial duel (similar to the classification matches in tournaments)

I really think this could make the results faster and more interesting than the current way that takes too long to complete due to several loading screens
