Game settings resetting on newlaunch | Forums

Any body else having issues where when you launch the game and/or log out of ghost mode to regular your hud and personal settings Key bindings) are resetting? And also when you launch the game or log out of ghost mode and back into regular mode all Ubisoft keep coming up saying 'you've unlocked this', 'you've unlocked that' etc.
The game worked fine until this patch dropped and now it's Every. Single. Time.

I have reported this issue to our team along with the save game reset issue. Are you having the issue where the game tells you that you need to make a new campaign and doesn't show 'continue compaign'?

Having the same issue for weeks now , key mappings keep resetting . Tried disable cloud / Re-enable cloud fix , but problem keeps re -occuring .Very frustrating .

Instead of making a new post I'll chime in here.

Yes I am, along with the reset of keybindings mentioned in the original post. The game, however, continues where I left off, with some very weird issues with loading. Biggest issue is that everything is extremely low res and textures, models etc. pop in over the next 30s or so, and the player character starts out in a T-pose for a very brief moment at the beginning, with the player model being some male preset regardless of what I've previously set up. I've only had the game for a couple of days now and I've only played solo thus far, if that's relevant information.

I'd also like to make a small additional complaint - all cosmetics that are obtained by the Gold edition (which I've bought) are unavailable to me for some reason. They worked fine the first day I played the game.

Same here, seems to maybe be related to the lost saves issues or such.

I have re-installed the game fully and moved the GRW.cfg folder in "my games" (wich keeps resetting) to the same drive as Wildlands and the reset/loss of earned gear items still persists. Oddly every time i load in the monologue that ends in "still dont know if i could do what Sam Fisher does " plays after every re launch . I have season pass and this is very frustrating

my issue is when i unmark all items that are NEW the next time i reload the game it acts like its the 1st time i have played the game resetting everything and i am welcomed with 'NEW CAMPAIGN' i then reset grw and the save game is back and i can click on "continue campaign" but all items are set back as NEW and the chopper controls set to new (not Classic which is way better)

This problem keeps happening to me. Having to set my keybindings and y-axis invert, along with hud settings all over again with each load. It's driving me crazy.

In addition it seems to affect whether I can continue my game or not, as well as showing me my unlocks constantly. How long is this going to go on? Do I need to delete my settings files? Can I make these changes in a settings file and set it to read only mode?
