Personally I have been using the G28 all the way through ghost mode and I’m currently at Tier 45. I haven’t found it that bad at all tbh although I do agree that shots beyond 250m are pushing it a little but I tend to stay -200m to the battlefield anyway so doesn’t bother me.Originally Posted by TexasRocks2 Go to original post
I can see the frustration at shooting +300m consistantily though but I just like the look of the G28 over the SR25 due to its smaller modelling 😉
I used the G28 almost completely through Tier Mode. Works well as long as you're undetected.Originally Posted by TexasRocks2 Go to original post
If engaged its Damage is ridiculous, that's right.
But you're wrong with the Bullet Drop, which is only bad if you use the G28 Scope. Use another Scope and you'll see its not worse than any other Semi Auto Sniper in this Game.
Same for the L115A3, which has e terrible BD only with certain Scopes.
There's only one sniper scope in the game as far as I'm concerned, and it's definitely not the g28 scope. So I've never used it. G28 is still awful.
Mk14, SR25, BFGs, and Muddy Bones are the only sniper rifles I use. Left all others in their crates on my second playthrough. Not even worth the time to unlock them.
(Yeah I use that Jungle one too but shhhh)
Yeah I struggle with the G28 scope as it just makes the bullet drop vs distance feel wonky, it’s the scope I am actually using on the G28 currently though and why I tend to stay within 150-200m of my targets and obviously that RDS helps a ton when you need to take the up close and personal approach, although the 5.7 blacklist pretty much decimates anything within 100m easily lol.
Despite the fact the BD in this Game is plain bad in general, some Scopes are completely off centered on certain Rifles. Check Darkdally's Testing Series.
The G28 Scope is a very special Case, as it is centered/zeroed for the Red Dot on some Rifles.
Put the POSP on the G28 and it does exactly the Job its supposed to.
