The Core Game is worth every Cent. Especially if you're able to create your own Immersion. I'd say GRW is a huge and beautiful Playground.
The Story isn't great, but solid and the Game for sure has some Flaws, some got fixed, some are still there and other are only depending on personal Flavor.

I'd recommend GRW to everyone that is interested in a military themed, partially realistic Shooter.
I'd also highly recommend to double-check any DLC, Season Pass and Microtransactions before Buying. They're very varying in Terms of Quality.

Emphasizing on this part: make sure to ask here if you don't really understand or sure what's included. And do so before making the purchase of course.

Because some people surely pay first before they ask.

I think its worth it, even when playing alone, although playing it with friends is the ultimate experience

The AI sqaud is not that bad though. I see many videos of people complaining about the AI not shooting people, and whining about this and that, but still have not figured out you can use a command wheel to order them to do stuff. Its really limited, and mediocre sure, but once you get a feeling of how the AI and commands work, you can utilize them well enough and have some fun with them imo.

What I really miss though is a rules of engagement mode, as sometimes when you order them to stand in a location to cover you, they will hesitate to shoot enemies when you get the "hunted" status as they think you are trying to avoid and hide.

Again, playing with friends gives the best experience.

If you like the game and the Seasons pass offers you genuine savings then it's only natural, isn't it. I don't buy the pass for a few extra cosmetics that are optional and fairly cheap (given I'm likely going to be playing this game for years, or until update sizes make doing so untenable). I buy the pass to save on extra content that is more expensive.

It’s a blast when playing the first time. But after completing the game and getting the trophies(if that’s your thing). There is always Tier mode which can get very frustrating and grindy once you hit extreme mode. Outside of the story you have Narco Road(kinda meh) but Fallen Ghosts I loved and had fun with...considering how short it was.
If you don’t have a grouping of friends to play or maybe mess around with after, you’ll find yourself getting very bored. Oh I forgot to mention the challenges we get too! Those can be fun when they actually work properly.

Other then that not a bad game just isn’t a whole lot to do outside the game other than Ghost War.

Thing is we SHOULD NOT ACCEPT MEDIOCRITY. Future Soldier had the squad A.I. done perfectly as far as responsiveness of orders are concerned. Problem is with a game plagued with as many glitches as Wildlands has, the game comes across as half-baked. It’s bad if a six year old game, or even a Ps2 game like SOCOM is more functional than Wildlands.

If you haven't don it yet, try co-op. ....preferably with friends if you can. GRW was one of the most fun co-op experiences I have had in many years and I made a few good online friends from it.
