    Legit faction war suggestion. Ubi?

I always read online in a lot of different forums...
"You should only get to play the heroes from your faction!"

    Or

"Look at this nub, he mains orochi but he's a viking!"

Personally, I believe if you paid for the game you shouldn't only get access to 1/3 of the games character pool. That would be truly crazy.

So my simple but effective suggestion to maybe see more Sam's vs Vikings vs knights, would be either of these 2 suggestions.

    1. Gain double assets or some sort of asset boost when you play a hero from your faction. It would have to be enough to be worthwhile.

    2. Or perhaps receive a significant penalty towards assests after the match when you play with a hero from a different faction than the one you're allied to.

I think either of these would really help out, especially with the upcoming new faction. I really hope this gets considered! To me it would make the character I'm playing a lot more significant in the war. 😄

If you ask me, I think this is really legitimate thing to suggest and I would be pleased to have this in game. It makes sense, that while playing for Knight faction as knight Hero, you will gather more troops under your banner to assist you in war. I also think it would add bit "strategic" aspect to the faction war. After all, nice idea man!

Those ideas are not new (mention early in 2017). I would like to see that too,
but devs shared their oppinion about that:
    >> They don't wanna force players to play only certain heroes, regarding to their own faction. <<

Also, there will be more than one problem. When the Wu Lin arrive in october, they will not be represented as a faction at first. So what do you do then? It would mean, you can join any faction you want and play Wu Lin with/without the boost/penalty. And there is more to think about. If they finally became a faction in FH, how does it affect the faction war. And how/where do you place them on the map? (each faction needs to have 3 front lines, and pushing to mid is way do difficult, so there will be one front line thats hard to push; what makes the whole thing even more worse than it is now)
I'll guess that it will have massive impact on - for example - the Samurai faction... a lot of those players will split up from Samurai to Wu Lin (a good amount of vikings too, I guess [~10-20%]). That could mean Samurai will get stronger (I'll guess more will switch to Wu Lin than stay with Samurai), meaning Wu Lin may be the new faction on the power level that Samurai are currently at - not that great.

We have to wait and see what's coming.

It should be more radical. If you are, for example, a Knight, you should still be able to play as a Samurai or Viking hero, obviously. But for not picking a knight hero you will not receive any assets.

Nah, making it more radical would be too much of a punish. I just want to have some incentive to actually playing someone in your own faction. It doesnt feel like i got beat by vikings this season when 9 times out of 10 they're a knight of sam class. lol
