I reckon, at least for XBOX, the team should do some collaborative work with 343i and get some unique Exo-suit designs. The Halo era is the 24th Century, but some of it's roots are in the coming decade. 343i will never do anything about that because the games take place, far in the future. However, it could be a cool thing to explore as platform specific DLC. I know I'd buy it.

Lol! To think.. Mjolnir armour began as a carry suit and 1500yrs later are only just getting jump packs. For a lot of reasons that makes sense to me.

I rather like the Exosuit design. Wish it also had some gameplay aspect to it.

Like where do my magazines come from? do they appear/disappear from a magical vortex along with my hopes and dreams of this game redeeming itself one day? Also the Exo Legs/Pants, overall instead of giving us the option to change the "Black pants" we're only given the ability to change the Exo parts themselves form the standard color to some swagger Blue/Steel and Black/Gold nonsense. The whole Exo parts themselves could have been a neutral color like black or something and that way those that want to can still have camouflage pattern for the clothing underneath.

As far as losing progress; I'm fine with losing gear and skills, but people that have been Killed/Removed from the map, should stay that way, just like how the Exo Suit progress keeps track of who's been cleared. Overall Ghost Mode is a small step in the right direction, but the Exo suit as of right now is just a "oh look at me, status item".
Personally, I could care less about the exo suit as I will never use it. The only reason I'm playing GM is to access the other new features since their locked behind this new mode. ....it's added some replay value for us. I really don't care about the PD component.

I have to say though..... Now that my friends and I are backing up our characters (initially to get around the PD restriction), we've found it to be a decent way to still add tension without the over-the-top frustration of losing all progress. At most we will lose what we gained for the session that evening which is incentive enough to try to stay alive but not so extreme. We're beginning to find the new mode kind of fun this way.

Without the ability to upload and download our progress on PS4, we wouldn't be playing PvE right now. ....which means I wouldn't be playing GRW at all since I gave up on GW long ago.

Had some ideas about that, inspired by the advancement system and real world application. They're more like a "effects of using the suit" not really the kinda things ppl expect.
    Things like:
    • Increasing accuracy (it's basically takes place of a tri-pod).
    • Increasing stamina - you can run for much longer.
    • Integrated scanner - New type of image enhancement, uses night vision and thermal vision in one mode, thermal sensor now outline heat sources in night vision. Magnification increased range. Increased threat indicator range (including lights up SAM's, etc.. beyond their acquisition range).
    • Carry capacity increase by (up to) 400% - You can carry more ammo.
    • Greater handling - Vibration dampening effect increases handling.
    • Reduced Fall Damage - you can't fall from higher, but you suffer no damage from falling.
    • 1 extra hard point - You can carry an extra firearm while wearing the suit.
    • ECM suite - Hardened against electro-magnetic interference.

Skills, for this could work similarly as the drone. There could even be different suits that offer unique bonuses as partial or full sets.

    Skills like:
    • Muscle memory (4 lvls) - You are better accustomed to using the suit and it offers less restriction.
    • ECM Stealth (2 lvls) - Reduced detection.
    • EMP armour (4 lvls) - EMP attacks don't slow you down.
    • Enhanced Scanner (4lvls) - Activates and increases the effects of Integrated Scanner (above). Including vs optic camo opponents (at max lvl).
    • Carry Capacity (4 lvls) - up to 400% increased carry capacity.
    • Dampener effect (2 lvls) - 50% - 100% increased handling, vehicles & weapons.
    • [Gold skill] Team Sync - Sync shooting acquires & activates faster, Halves Cooldown (or more), as long as the whole squad is outfitted in Exo-suits.

Stuff like that, maybe? May also be a way to introduce favourite effects from past GR games like FS/AW/Phantoms, too.

Can someone show me where the entire, if not most, of the community asked for this mode. Yes it's cool and all, but when your grinding through and you're replaying missions and all of a sudden the chopper you're in blows up with no SAM lock, no black smoke, no incoming fire, you're with the AI, it makes it less enjoyable.

Really wish ANYONE in the dev department would understand that 2% of the community does not speak for the majority. And, also, I am streaming via Mixer all the freaking time I am on. Gamertag is Marine Veteran0 and my channel is mixer.com/marine_veteran0
I would like to hear why they said "we asked for this" when I don't really think we (the entire community) asked for this
