    Boosters suspended (not perm banned)

So not only have you back tracked your original statement of 'perma' banning boosters, you instead suspend them for 15 days, could have maybe suspended them entirely from this season of ranked (and let these filthy boosters) play casual, this 15 day will do nothing, at least show some 'backbone' against boosters.

Its a complete SPIT IN THE FACE by @Ubisoft to ALL of its honest players!!!

These CHEATERS have ruined the game for honest players over and over, yet all they get is 15 days to play something else??

Utterly DISGUSTED with @Ubisoft....you OWE your HONEST players more than that!!!.

Lets compare Uplay to another gaming Platform....

Steam banned 90,000 ACCOUNTS! not just single titles, whole account for cheating!

    https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articl...-purge-to-date

Uplay?? ...nothing other than go play something else for 15 days then you're WELCOME to come back?!?!

Nothing more than a "Time-Out on the Naughty Step"

Please see the update on the situation posted today: Anti-Cheat Update

Here's an excerpt touching on the booster punishment specifically:
This week, we suspended approximately 1300 players that we determined to have been boosted by cheaters. These players were suspended for 15 days, which many in the community feel is not harsh enough. They will also not benefit from their illicit activities come the end of the Season. We are currently assessing how we will be delivering this from a technical side, but all players sanctioned for this will have their rank and rewards removed prior to the launch of Season 3. We want to stress that we do not view the sanctioning of boosted players as a solution to the issue. It was a stop-gap while we work on the solution, which is adjusting MMR gains/losses for all players in a match with a cheater.

On the topic of adjusting MMR gains/losses for matches with cheaters, we are finalizing the design next week. Once that is complete, we will meet to determine workload, personnel, and deadlines. We will then have a better idea of the timeline for this feature going live.

that did not answer my question. if your going to suspend them, suspend them for the rest of the season or introduce a rank ban for the duration of this season, on top of that when you first made an update stating 600* players would be 'banned' you retracted this and instead suspended them knowing full well they are half the issue. suspending boosters wont do **** and you guys know it. they should have been banned and personally I expect ELO to be given back now that I know they aint getting perma banned.

PERMANENT bans for all cheaters, boosters and boosted players.
Instant permanent ban on the ENTIRE Uplay account that used hacks in multiplayer games such as siege.

    You’re not understanding

“all players sanctioned for this will have their rank and rewards removed prior to the launch of Season 3.” they lose all their elo, all their previous ranked charms. And if the continue to boost to get their elo back? They get the perma ban.

This shouldn't be an issue in YEAR 3, you should have done something in YEAR 1. Permaban them and pull your fingers out and deal with bloody hackers. The solution to the issue is do your damn job!

I'm glad to hear about the MMR adjustment and I hope it's done properly and soon!

It restores a bit of faith in Ubisoft.
