    Relocation of Enemy Positioning?

Hey, so I have played this game from beta. I have done every mission at least 100 times and have pretty much have a 80% chance of remembering exactly where EVERY bad guy is and his path. Is there a way to take the new ghost mode and maybe switch up the positioning and location of bad guys? I mean the ones on turrets and watch towers are fine but the guys walking around the base, I feel its already way to easy with the guys all being in the same spot.

I agree, the AI should be improved. While in stealth, everyone just walks around or stays at the same spot. and in combat, they either get to cover and look over occasionally and when they say "we must be more than them" they all just start running at you, making them an easy target

Not in their vision as it doesn't bode well within the fantasy of the Ghost but they will give you Permadeath... don't forget to Thank them for it.

In all honesty, I believe the changes involved would likely be massive. I doubt it's a matter of tweaking global variables and much more specific than some may think. ....unlike reaction times, TTK, etc.

Let's face it..... The AI is relatively simplistic as is the damage model and other mechanics in this game. Without a ground-up revamp of these components, I really don't see any meaningful improvements being made to them. If we're lucky though, perhaps they will take what they've learned from this game and build on a future GRW2. .....or maybe not given some of the direction / choices I've witnessed thus far.

I think santa blanca is pretty good, as they do not seem like perfectly trained soldiers (and also not the smartest), so they may use dumb tactics. But at least for Unidad, I expect better.

Oh, I may be sarcastic but I understand what you are saying very well Kean. I guess what I don't and why I don't give them a pass is because they had 5 YEARS to make a GHOST RECON SHOOTER GAME... where gameplay should have being at the top of their priorities and not cosmetics or eye candy...

I'll go you one better... don't believe much will change for the next ome or the next one until people vote more with their wallets and demand it.

I do enjoy reading and as synical as I may seem, I am also hopeful that someday they will make the effort

Believe me, while I enjoyed GRW the last thing I want is a repeat of the same old mechanics, issues, etc. that we have complained about since the betas. If GRW2 is more of the "same 'ol, same 'ol" (in those ways I felt were bad), I won't be buying it.

There is absolutely no reason why they can't make a GRW2 that caters more to their HC fan base while still having options to appeal to the casuals among us. GRW was so close and if they can't (or won't) to take that next step, I won't be giving them my money. Ubi's original vision during development was spot on IMO. .....somehow I think they lost sight of that.

Is this your first GR game Kean?

Also, their original vision is alway excellent but little by little you begin to see the disconnect, perhaps part of why I am so sarcastic when they announce something or salty when the CMs come to give us what everyone perceives as good news and I am already negative and pessimistic about it... the rinse and repeats get old

....nope, but I wasn't a diehard fan of the franchise either. I was however a huge fan of the original R6 titles until those too began to suffer.

In all honesty, the departure from the more futuristic elements of those later GR titles is one attribute that piqued my interest during development of GRW. ....elements i didn't like. While GRW still has some of those, it was much more of a current-day shooter which I prefer.

That's one reason I have been really hopeful for Insurgency: Sandstorm.
