They would fill up alot of lobbies and make alot of money off of silverbars.
Then Ubisoft could focus on farcry Arcade the game that never ends only gets better.
An hopefully in the future we could have every asset ubisoft has and future amp editor upgrades like a way to connect maps so you could reach a point on your map and be transported to a different map so you could make levels to small games. They could be groundbreaking if they get ahead of the scene. Ubisofts goal should be to keep adding possibility like little big planet and the new game called dreams that coming out.
Why play fortnite if in future updates they had many more players added. And arcade free more updated modes and mechanics.
Good advice.
If Arcade goes free. Doubt map editor or campaign be included. That be behind a pay wall. But its not even 6 months out yet. Doubt they give away anything for free let alone a major price drop like I been suggesting to repopulate the dead server browsers. When your looking at barely 3 or 4 almost full rooms ya know game is just about dead. All it will take is more AAA shooters to come out and this game will be forgotten. Also doesn't help the tiny community is divided into suggest a map and arcade heroes and server browser.Originally Posted by legacyzero Go to original post
Making Arcade Free to Play could work, but they better optimize the Arcade experience more before they do that, so players won't walk way again. Like:
-More MP game modes
-(Re)spawnable vehicles
-Better community management integrated in the game; recommend maps per user, queue maps, make playlists that go beyond the single "Favorites" list people manage. No dependence on the Arcade website
We have this WONDERFULLY ACCESSIBLE editor, THOUSANDS of assets and an OK game engine. It's a shame it's wasted on plain Deathmatch mode maps. Give the game a unique selling point for players (rather than map makers) and they will have fun with it!
The boon of Minecraft is in the building, the boon of PUBG/Fortnite is that it's FREE. That's the competition, entice players to give Arcade a try.
