Alrighty ladies and gents. Bear with me, cause this might be long. I believe adding back the enemy AI,’similar to the outpost master option would make for a fantastic addition to the game. Easily my favorite game in the series, mostly because of the large scale chaos you endure throughout the game. Everything about the game is great, the side quests, fishing, hunting, even just exploring. But what ( in my opinion ) was the best? THE ACTION, THE CHAOS. After you finish each region, you’ll maybe find 5 cult members within a 30-40 minute period. Compared to before, we’re within a 20 foot stretch you’ll find an army of Peggie’s gunning down either a bear, or the resistance. On the other side of that 20 feet you’ll see a Wolverine fighting a bison... while on fire. This game lacks that excitement after it’s over! I understand Ubisoft might’ve done that so you can become more excited for the DLC. I’m only suggesting doing this after the final dlc is realesed. After the dlcs are done, the main story is done, what else is left to do? Wait for the next game, so I personally would like to keep fans interested in the series during that wait by bringing back what far cry is loved and known for, ITS ACTION AND CHAOS. The funny thing is, I thought this right after the game ended when I beat it 4 months ago, but I only posted this because I’ve seen a lot of people throughout the internet expressing the same exact thoughts as me. People want this. I truly believe this isn’t fantasy, like some of the stuff I see on here. I believe it’s a realistic wish, and it can be achieved. And I hope the right people see this, and read it haha. But if you’ve gotten this far, I thank you! Spread this around folks, let’s make it happen!!!
Hi MTFootball23 I posted a method I use for extending the gameplay yesterday, see link below. I too found the county very sparse of peggies and animals after each area was cleared.
terry427 that is a good idea. I hadn't thought of creating a save point at the end of Dutch's island missions. The intro is a drag once you've played the game. Thanks

Outpost master should be the same as in the previous games. I always loved the free roaming part of the game, when I had unlocked all the good stuff and just ran around stupid making the lifes of my enemies miserable. Now I have this vast environment and nothing to do really. I don't know why Ubisoft doesn't seem to care when the solution would probably be rather easy to do and would make a lot of people happy.
As much as I enjoyed my first playthrough, I have no intention of doing it again.
skraggy66y Take a look at the link I put in the post above yours. I've played the game several times the way Ubisoft planned, now I play it differently and the game lasts a lot longer. The Peggies still roam the countryside and set up roadblocks. The downside is that the outposts cannot be reset until the game is completed, but really, there are not enough Peggies spawned at the outposts to make the reset worthwhile in my opinion. Unlike FC3 where the firefights appear to be a lot more intense.
This game is so huge with so much potential for all kinds of expansion on it. After my first play of the story, I really did not like the direction they went with by using the reputation system for unlocking weapons. By the time everything was unlocked there was hardly any enemies to combat with them and I found myself wandering around hoping to kill something other then deer and cougars.
On my second play of the story. I had to manage and plan what fun I could have while still trying to unlock items I wanted to use trying to maximize the gameplay time for as long as possible. It was not very fun. So I reset the outposts. The outposts though in farcry 5 are pretty easy compared to the ones in 3 and 4. It still left the main map of the game void of any bad guys to combat. New game + could remedy the situation for a little while but it will still go back to being barren after the commanders are killed. Nearly all the patrols are gone, being replaced by civilian ones. It is cool that you do get to see the outcomes of your efforts in the regions but at the same time it makes those regions empty.
Years ago on the farcry 3 forums I mentions they could have out posts radio in for help that are being attacked. After an outpost was liberated, there was a chance it would come under attack again and they put that in farcry 4 , which was cool. This game is huge with it`s map and it`s a real shame it comes to an end. Though it doesn`t have to. Add in the radio calls, bounty hunter missions to track down cult captians, put in hunting missions from the liberated outposts to gather meat for the suvivors, put the enemy patrols back in place after liberating a region so the combat stays fluid in all areas. missions to gather munitions for the outposts so they have a better chance of defending themselves successfully. More fuel highjack missions for the outposts or certain needed vehicles. So much could be done to extend the gameplay time of a playthrough.
I would also prefer the dlc had been linked to the campaigns original map. Veitnam was a neat idea but content added to the regular map would have been better. Mars... I didn`t play much of. As much as I loved starship troopers, I couldn`t get into it. The zombie dlc sounded cool until I heard that will be a different map as well.
I really like the gameplay and think this is the most solid farcry game so far, but I would love to see it have more content added to increase it`s duration. Having to play a special way just to keep the game interesting with things to kill kinda sucks.
Agreed.Originally Posted by Luke79AU Go to original post
Only part of the game worth re-playing is the outposts. Its the only time (assuming alarms go off) that there are a decent number of enemies to challenge you and the two killing machines you bring along with you.
I wish FC would just forget about the story missions all together, as its always some talking head asking me to do a fetch quest, which you can usually just steam roll through.
If its a stealth mission, set off explosive in the East, then rush in from the West with a silenced weapon.
If its not a stealth mission just rush in and kill everybody. In the Story Missions they can't call for backup except in a few cases, so you have at best a handful of guys to deal with.
We should try to give our opinion about some multiplayer DLC !so we could see a lot of chaos every day ... shooting people online! Trying to win every game with your team ! We can use the same map to make some lobbies ! Using all those weapons ! Cars, trucks ,helicopters , to play against with people online
3 regions 3 teams !!!
I know after the game you are not going to see a lot of enemies anymore ...
