I tottaly agree man, i only see threads about adding some immersive stuff, like ghillie wraps and all the stuff that is more realistic and connected with military, and yet they add some stupid stuff to make it look like fortnite, and i have never seen any thread where people ask for such stuff. So im really confused where do they get their ideas from and why the hell they want us to give them ideas if they dont even implement a 1/4 of them.
This is why I struggled with playing this game after I bought it, I have deleted this game 3 times, because in my opinion Gost Recon Wildlands is not a Ghost Recon game, it's a weird Far Cry clone and could easily get it's own IP, but I guess using the Ghost Recon name would result in more sales and that is why I think they named it Ghost Recon, I have not a Ghost Recon feeling when i'm playing this game, more a version of Far Cry so forgetting about the Ghost Recon part helped me to be able play this game, I hope Ubisoft will abandon the open world formula for the next Ghost Recon, i'm not sure if every game needs to be a open world game.Originally Posted by Trigger_Hoot Go to original post
Mixing in Splinter Cell and rainbow Six is in my opinion a bad idea as well, some people will be tired of Splinter cell before a new Splinter Cell game is out (if there will be a new Splinter Cell that is) because of the difficulty Operation Watchman, when you mix in other games in one game each of those game will start to feel less unique, i'm tired of Far Cry now and one of the reason for that is because I feel I play a Far Cry game when i'm playing Ghost Recon Wildlands.
For the GTA, they don't listen to the consumers, if they did we would have single player dlc, not the online money grabbing stuff they are releasing these days.
Many game developers today is greedy or want to earn easy money and who can blame them when some people are doing stuff like this:
https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2...-ultimate-team
FIFA player uses GDPR to find out everything EA has on him, realises he's spent over $10,000 in two years on Ultimate Team
Loot boxes as they relate to FIFA have to do with FIFA Ultimate Team card packs. These virtual football sticker packs can be bought with a virtual currency bought with real world money (FIFA Points) or a virtual currency earned through playing FUT (FIFA Coins). Like a standard loot box, FUT packs contain a random assortment of cards, which players use to build their FIFA Ultimate Team squads.
One figure is $6144 spent between 2nd November 2016 and 29th August 2017, the other $10,010, spent between 25th September 2017 and 21st May 2018. In total, this would mean Michael has spent $16,154 over two years, not just over $10,010 as Michael first thought.
So it's not neccessary for many game developers to make meaningful content anymore when they can earn easy money on loot crates, virtual currency etc.
Wow, you just added so much to the conversation.Originally Posted by R09U3A55A55IN90 Go to original post
On topic, I did enjoy the new mission & I like the cross-over formula. I can agree though, as a long time GR fan that this game feels completely different, but it didn't have to.
I don't think it's the open world concept that's to blame, but more the unrealistic enemy and team AI; along with the poor vehicle mechanics. I play this title as tactically as one can and still, there are times the game forces me into firefights, a passing vehicle alerts the whole base I was about to infiltrate to my location ( no matter how far away), and my teammates are spotting targets through walls and floors.
The old games were close to Military simulations while this one, at times completely breaks immersion, especially with some of it's DLC content. I'll stick with the title, but I do hope the next installment takes us back to our roots. Good hunting Ghost.
