I killed the Yeti, the sniper in the snow. Got the Yeti headgear and pants....but I didn't get a patch...a Yeti patch, I know there's a Yeti patch but you have to buy it.
Why on earth should you buy it when you spent all that time hunting down a Yeti...you should win it when you kill him.

The patch was a challenge reward. Unless the challenge is in effect, you can't get it by completing the El Yeti missions.

Correct, we may leave missions in-game so everyone can play them, but rewards might be specifically for participating in the Challenge itself.

I'm sure the El Yeti challenge will rear its ugly head again sooner or later. If you really want the patch, try to be patient and wait for that.

Will wait for that next challenge, I finished this game a year ago and have come back to it to see the changes...
At the minute I'm just trying to kill the predator...what guns do you recommend? I'm doing solo, with guns for hire using thermal and just spinning around a tree trunk!!

Use whatever weapon you like really as long as you handle it well and it has decent range.

I've beat the Predator handily both by headshotting with a single antimatériel round each time he appears but also by spraying him with a few battle rifle rounds centre of mass each time.

Best video I've ever seen of someone beating the Predator quickly and without dying used a KRISS Vector.

I think it just takes a certain amount of damage each appearance and then cloaks and leaps away.

Then after like 15 instances of damaging it it starts appearing much faster and closer, then you need to damage it like 5 more times.

This has been my experience anyway.

I find the Mk 249 modded for max controllability (short barrel, no laser, foregrip #4, compensator #2) works best for me. The are other weapons with a higher DPS, but the 249's low recoil in this configuration negates it as I can put more rounds into the Predator in a shorter time.

Same here. LMG with the biggest mags and fastest reload speed rate for the capacity.
