I agree, it's a shame Patriots never came to be. Maybe they feared American gamers, especially those in the ... lesser-privileged ... lower and middle classes, might sympathize with the True Patriots' goals. I could see that being a major point of contention among Ubi's higher ups, whom rightfully wouldn't want to be perceived as possibly endorsing or encouraging domestic terrorism in the United States.
