    Operation Revenge/Archangel thoughts (spoilers!)

So, for those that have completed the missions, what do you think? Caveira is flat out scary being able to do what she did on her own. The Operation Archangel mission was really well designed (IMO), challenging, and fun. It gave me a lot of the same vibes that playing R6: Vegas and Vegas 2 did. And the confrontation between Caveira/Valkyrie and Nomad/Bowman in the ending cutscene over Caveira's brother refusing to reveal information on Sueno's whereabouts? Man, you can cut the tension with a knife. I don't think Team Rainbow and the Ghosts will be working together again anytime soon!

It's a significant improvement over the Sam Fisher mission. I'll look forward to playing it over and over again.

Yeah, team rainbow and the ghosts did not part ways in good terms. In my opinion, rainbow were crappy guests and Caviera was acting like a beeyotch. I guess this happened before the endgame of the main campaign, and I guess it's also safe to assume that splinter cell mission also happened before the endgame.

Just plot-wise I thought it was ridiculous and annoying, but I know nothing about Rainbow or Ghost Recon at large so maybe I'm the dummy.

"Don't ask me to choose between my family and my duty." Um, first of all, not only are you a soldier, which is generally regarded as one of the few occupations on the planet where you are expected to put the job before your family (and you sure as **** aren't expected to go on a goofy murder-spree in another country on, what, your day off?), you're this super secret top tier best warrior on the planet, so you ought to know what the stakes are. Like, there's a line in that new Mission Impossible movie where somebody makes a moral appeal to or about the main character ("If he'd given up his team they'd be dead, you expected him to do that?"), and the government rep/handler lady says, "Yeah (*******), that's the JOB."

I don't know Rainbow but the impression I get from these skins is that they're heroes in a hero shooter. Is Caveira superhuman? Were we supposed to take her seriously? "It was the DEVIL," says the scared guy we interrogate, "the DEVIL, THE DEVIL KILLED THEM ALL." You mean, the gal with her baps halfway out, her? Was I supposed to be impressed? Because it really felt like satire to me, and the ghosts took the mick out of Rainbow at every turn.

But like I said, maybe I'm missing something.
