You want to ignore a German joke? Fine, let me do another one since I AM CHILDISH AND YOU ARRR SERRRIOUS GERRRMAN PERRRRSON (welcome to the internet).Originally Posted by DFQN1 Go to original post
Now, these are the MAX punishes of every character when GB next to a wall (so yes, I will consider the feat "Haymaker"):
Warden – 20 STM – 40 HP
Conqueror – 20 STM – 44 HP (Very difficult)
PK – 20 STM – 38 HP (Very difficult)
Lawbringer – 120 STM – 30 HP / 20 STM – 45 HP
Centurion – 70 STM – 95 HP (Haymaker active – otherwise 70 STM – 65 HP)
Gladiator – 20 STM – 30 HP
------------------------------------
Raider – 0 STM – 45 HP (standing at same distance from Wall than Centurion – Very difficult).
Warlord – 0 STM – 30 HP / (standing at same distance from Wall than Centurion – otherwise 20 STM (headbut) – 37 HP)
Berserker – 20 STM – 38 HP
Valkyrie – 20 STM – 35 HP
Highlander – 20 STM – 45HP
Shaman – 20 STM – 27 HP
-----------------------------------------
Kensei – 20 STM – 45 HP
Shugoki – 20 STM – 40 HP / 20 STM – Demon’s Embrace (should be based on enemy’s health, but that is another post.)
Orochi – 20 STM – 35 HP
Nobushi – 20 STM – 38 HP
Shinobi – 20 STM – 40 HP
Aramusha – 0 STM – 42 HP
Now see the numbers. They all make more or less sense, except for one tiny little Centurion over there that deals more damage than 100% of the other characters (except situational Shugoki) with more than double the damage of the next max punish AND more stamina damage than any character except Lawbringer (sometimes).
Now, see the numbers (again) and say (again) with a straight face, that the cut-scene of the Centurion is not OP… now, I understand that you high-level players never get GB, but for the rest of us, simple mortals, the numbers speak for themselves.
So, as I already said before, maybe the solution would be to nerf the cut-scene and improve the openers of the character, to make it easier at low levels and competitive at high levels (like yours, German person).
Good day SIRRRRR.

Yes, the cutscene as it is now is totally fine since Cent has nothing else. IF you remove or nerf it, as you've said, you need to give him something else, obviously. Good work on that one Sherlock. It's called "balance". Which should count for every hero in the game.Originally Posted by b1gb4d0rc Go to original post
And a gb (which is a requirement for the combo + a wall) is counterable if you do have normal working reflexes. A wallsplat is actually also situational. Position yourself away from walls and everything's fine.
But tell me one thing in this game which isn't situational.
If Shugoki is critically damaged, he can one-shot the opponent. No other hero can do that.
If the opponent stands 10m away from a ledge and gets parried by the Lawbringer, he can be ledged. No other hero can do that.
Nobushi's hidden stance can negate almost every 50/50 in the game completely.
Berserker gets a light reposte and a heavy after he parried a Shugoki light while his armor is active.
Raider's throw punish while he is in revenge can do over 100 damage.
Everythig is situational. Cent is defferent to Raider. Raider is different to Shugoki. Shugoki is different to Lawbringer.
I'm glad you finally saw the obvious response to such an elementary question, my dear Watson.Originally Posted by DFQN1 Go to original post
This is not true dude. What about maps like the forge? You are everywhere next to a wall or lava. There is no mispositionning with those inside maps, it is just bad design: smaller is the map, bigger is the cent's advantage and it shouldn't work this way in a skilled based game..Originally Posted by DFQN1 Go to original post
Some maps provide advantages to certain heroes, this is a fact. Ever played a game with a ridiculous number of characters like League of Legends or DOTA? Certain parts of the map provide advantages to specific characters and others are weaker there.Originally Posted by Corentin10111 Go to original post
It's called positioning and strategy. Don't go to an area where your character is weak and your opponent is strong.
Also, Centurion can get a wallsplat by doing a parry counter when the opponent is up against a wall. That's just one more situation he can do it. Centurion is currently only good as a complete turtle, and that needs to be changed.
Seriously, do you really think that Centurion should be nerfed?
He is one of the weakest heroes in the game, Well he is nice in dominion but in duels he sucks.
he is soooo bad that without the parry counter and throw into a wall punishment (which is a little bit OP considering how weak he is) I'll get destoryed if the dude knows that he can dodge.
Just make sure he doesn't GB you near a wall and do not to throw obvious attacks, that's it.
