i was just doing the r6 mission. normal campaign, as i dont have year 2. tier one mode, level 26. i got downed. my ai buds were practically standing on top of me, and they didnt revive me. this is an exceptional rarity, but it only has to happen once in ghost mode to be once too many. in standard campaign its no biggy, you just checkpoint, but if that had wiped my entire character, lets just say one would not be pleased, and the game would have been turned off and not returned to for a very long time.
you guys need to work something out in regards of the ai ressing the player. giving them all ai drones if needs be, but it needs to be addressed.
that isnt the point. the ai should revive you in certain situations. sometimes they do not. for no good reason. because they get stuck. its not a tier one mode thing. its a "not being revived" thing. death can occur on lower difficulties aswell, and if the ai are failing to revive you in a glitchy way, then something is wrong.
also, ghost mode is advertised as playable in all difficulty settings. obv for the added challenge. if you die because the challenge was too great then fine, but if you die because the ai had a brain fart, then thats going to potentially ruin a fantastic experience.
and what would be the point of playing on a setting that is greatly below your skill level, and avoiding the threat of the death, if the whole point is the threat of the death. the idea is sound, but the ai need some tweaking to make it work properly.
Lets not forget the auto-tilt on crashing choppers. They literally can't revive you. I always wondered why not do the FC2 "dragging you out of harms way" revive. Thats how FC2 avoided the revive glitch. -- basically followers whom can't properly revive you safely, would kickstart an animation, where they drag you out of danger then revive you. They could use that to get around a bunch of revive glitches, especially burning wrecks.
GOOD JOB
