So it's another Fail that we can get Items from that Crates we already own.
That's in fact even more ridiculous and exaggerating than the Lootbox itself. I wish my Hand was big enough for the Facepalm this deserves.
For me, I'm already aware of this since they wrote it in the patch notes. But the reality is that the chance of you getting duplicate item which then turn into 10GRC is a bit pushing it.

I mean, yea sure why not with the idea? Get item that's already owned and it turns into 10GRC. Get 20 items that you already own and you get a free Battle Crate.

The idea is good enough, tbh. It could have been worse and leave you ripped with Prestige Credits loss. But again, the chance of getting already-owned item is a bit pushing it. Especially right now I still have no idea how to make Prestige Credits back in Main Campaign as opposed to what they said in trailer.

Those 100+ items are the newly added ones and they are not yet included in prestige crates, you can get them from battle crates (ghost war/spec ops crates)
Prestige crates have the old items that were from battle crates before today update and that's around 200+ items( those 200+ can still be acquired from battle crates besides of prestige crates, excluded Icons they are exclusive to battle crates only)

I just keep thinking...do I really need to be able to play Toxic and Surgeon right now?

As much text as I've used recommending PvP above I still put PvE first, and I'd kinda rather convert a few more prestige crates into Spec Ops crates and get more new clothes and vehicles and such.

Also there are a lot of social items to get out of the way, they are kinda fun but I sort of see them as a barrier to getting the cosmetic stuff I really want, diluting the item pools of both Ghost War and Spec Ops crates.

Kinda wish they'd confined emotes and voicelines to Ghost War crates even though they can be used in PvE too. Feels like they are really "for" PvP more than PvE.

Yes, I am aware of that, but I am quite certain it was never meant to be a away to aquire all items (see that there is still the possiblity of doubles, while they don't allow it to happen to spec ops/ghost war crates). They give aways a big amount of items, but they still want to sell boxes and ghost packs. Again, nothing I can really complain about, since the main game had a huge selections of items and weapons and you can get a lot free.

I agree that the poses a voice commands should be kept in PvP boxes. They have really no place in the PvE campaign.

Those 40 prestige crates gave me nearly 800 credits in the store and four Spec Ops crates via that 20 counter thingie, and those all had decent stuff including a couple of vehicles---though not your elusive SB armoured pickup---and I think all the new helmets and some emotes and such. Decent mix anyway.

I might use those new store credits to buy a magazine accessory pack since this update deleted a whole bunch of previously unlocked magazines (and attachments and compensators and such) from a lot of people's toons. If that's a permanent problem, hell with it, I insist on always being able to use my standard fit weapons with all the mods I want (including 30 round P mags) at level 1 of a new campaign. I am an elite operator, my sense of immersive demands I set foot in country with my choice of equipment!

But theoretically I could keep going and generate 2600 credits after tiering some new toons in PvE or prestiging in PvP and even buy that R6 pack with the HK416 that I am like 100% sure Ubisoft will fix given the outcry about its lack of short barrel and bad sights and such.

Or generate 4000 store credits and buy a 10 + 1 pack of Spec Ops crates to get a larger number of new items.

Basically never need to spend terran currency in the store ever again, just keep playing the game. Works for me.

On the bright side as long as you keep playing---which hopefully you'd be doing anyway---you will eventually inevitably get that SB armoured pickup you want, it's a mathematical certainty.

    So that's something, I guess.

(Oh, also is the paintjob important? There's an armoured pickup of the same chasis as the SB with an Andean art paintjob in the Inca vehicle pack you can buy in the store straight away, no fuss if performance what you're after.)

Again, screw PvP. Not ever playing it, so no, I can't keep generating points.

I made the mistake of buying that ugly Incan pack a long time ago. Thinking since I like the truck so much, maybe I'd get used to the hideous paint job. Two years later, I still rather go out of my way to steal a white one from SB, than call that horrible thing.

Dumbest idea ever. "Hey we got this really cool looking truck in the game. Let's make it as ugly as possible, then sell it."

That pickup should've been in the SB pack to begin with. Anyways it's whatever. Done with this damm game. Later.

    The Question remains -
Is there a way to play the main game\campaign (and NOT in Tier 1) to earn Prestige credits or not?

Ghost mode will be released in a week to the general population and in it you earn 400PC by completing a region without dying. That's just one crate for about 2 hours or more of playing without dying. seems a bit cheap IMO. I would understand that one can play on EASY or use cheats and grind as fast as possible by doing only the easier regions but to me, that misses the fun of the game.
And if you are playing for fun, and fun for you is to play on harder difficulties with some HUD off and slow and methodically than that payment is kinda cheap.

I would have loved it if every consecutive region that you liberate without dying in GM will earn more and more PCs. so first region is 400, second is 440, third is 480, forth is 520 etc etc.

400 per region without dying is ultra stingy. Wtf.

I tried playing missions in main campaign with other character and I got nothing still.

How does the Prestige Credits work in PvP and how much do you get?

Is there a cap on how many credits you can earn, so 15 000 points outside ghost mode?

"It’s understandable that Ubisoft would want to keep making money off of Wildlands, but when the company continues to so blatantly treat the game’s community like a brain-dead cash cow, said community will inevitably get upset." - a wise man
