Ubisoft can you please fix this mission? Its impossible for me on single player. I have tried many times and always fail. The truck gets away or I blow it up. Its never alone and I just cant play anymore. Everything else so far is great but this mission is HORRIBLE. I wait forever for a truck to show up and usually end up dying because of tons of other enemies or I miss the truck going by because I am occupied with other enemies. I assume its ok if you are multiplayer.
I guess we all can't be great players like you, right? No need to put someone down because they're having a hard time with a mission.Originally Posted by KmarkoPL Go to original post
While I can agree that putting people down is wrong, his sentiment isn't exactly wrong. The quest isn't broken, either your playing ability or your strategy is off. Just because you can't do it easily doesn't make it broken, it is simply a call for you to try something different when you are trying to do the quest. Remember....doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result is the definition of Insanity.....Have I told you the definition of Insanity?? HEHEHE...FC3 for those who have played it....
There are many ways to stop the truck....a good pair of Binoculars and Grace as a companion works well, in highlighting the driver and telling Grace to kill him, thus stopping the truck.
So please don't just jump to FIX THIS IT IS BROKEN, especially on a working side quest, and instead seek help in how to best do the quest. This one mostly isn't hard, but just requires some thinking and strategy sometimes.
I can sympathize with people who don't like this mission. I didn't much like the mission where you had to get the Deathwish jeep back either. The game just doesn't have good tools to stop a vehicle without destroying it, other than ridiculously good twitch shooting and/or using an NPC to do it for you. In the first case, not everyone can play at that level, and considering the difficulty of the rest of the game isn't very high, it's a big, unexpected jump in challenge. And if you're using an NPC to do it, are you even playing the game? I think for both of these missions, the only thing I got to work was when the vehicles got stuck on their own randomly spawning roadblocks and the NPCs jumped out to fight me on foot. I long for a mechanic some other games have where you can jump from one vehicle to the other and hijack it.
What like the awesome "vehicle take-down" skill from FC4?!?Originally Posted by UnionHouse Go to original post
