Definitely add a Splinter Cell Blacklist style weapon wheel.

Hold Left to bring it up, choose your gear with the stick/mouse, and toggle lethal/non-lethal CQC with the same button/key that interacts with Intel, Resources, etc.

And while not holding the Left D-Pad/key to open the wheel, simply tapping it should toggle lethal/non-lethal CQC, for times when you need to act fast.

Make the same apply to NVGs & Thermal; hold Right to open an item wheel, choose one or the other, and tapping Right toggles your goggles on/off.

Hold Up to open the Drone menu wheel, where you can choose the type of Drone you deploy rather than wasting time in the item menu screen.

I’m actually pretty amazed that an Ubisoft game lacks these features that most previous Ubisoft games, some of which are in the the same franchise, did have.

That's because Ubisoft is a parent company while the developers are pretty much working as separate studios under Ubisoft-[their name].

The only thing gets shared is the trending cultures they implement in their game (modern hipster, drone, etc).

They don't seem to share knowledge and technology or built upon a shared engine that their technologies can be implemented into one stronger engine.

If they did, can you just imagine what this game could have more? A stealth mechanic of Splinter Cell, a shooting, team, tactical gameplay mechanic of GR, a variety of consistent clothing customisation of WD2, a parkour ability and melee combat ability of Assassin's Creed, a hunting and crafting ability of Far Cry, and a vehicle customisation and physics of The Crew series.

That would be one hell of a shooter game we will have.

The only game I'm glad it didn't get adopted to this game was The Division - so far. Or I don't know. Ghost Mode is grief zone already.

True that would be some game alright.

But yeah I would love to have a selection of CQC Weapons to choose from, and yes the option of lethal and non lethal takedown would be nice.

I wish a different way of choosing melee takedowns, such as a menu option, would be implemented rather than tying them to specific handwear. I like the Karambit takedowns a lot, but the gloves don't really mesh well with any of the clothing in customization. But if this system has to persist and the FG knife animations are added to the main campaign, I'd personally like them tied to a pair of (colorable!) Oakley half finger gloves like these.

Ubi should just stop hating its players and add the Fallen Ghosts knife and animations to the entire main game for those who bought the DLC, just like they did with the guns. It should also be available in a battle crate for those who didn't. This has to be one of the most requested additions since the DLC was released and we haven't even seen a reply about it from Ubi.

The game should've been designed from the ground up with silent CQC knife takedowns in mind, not that cheesy B-movie melee nonsense it shipped with that looks like it was mo-capped using an 8yr old child with special needs. Players could've equipped their CQC weapon of choice in the loadout menu, along with the rest of their kit. They could've started you off with something like a Ka-bar and added a few more choices to unlock in weapon crates found throughout the map like the guns are now. They could've added it to the skill tree as well.

But I don't even wanna get started on what they should've/could've done... As far as I'm concerned Wildlands is the most criminally mismanaged game in recent history.

    I’m with you.

I want the FG KNIFE and more CQC Weapons...

But give credit to the dev team — they have been implementing requested features more than any game in recent memory.

They’re making moves in the right direction at least...

So hopefully they will add this stuff...

They get their C LIST animator to do these animations...???

This has to be the worst CQC animation in the game to date.

    They’re truly awful.

    So disappointed.

Man Ubisoft — give us the FG Knife Takedowns. At least there were a few of those that looked cool, and there’s was quite a variety.

The Karambit is reasonably well animated but there’s only 4 animations.

    I need some more....
Not even worth C list. Initially thought it was a glitch. Nah, straightup, some slimey clown said, "good 'nuff". No more Caveria gloves. QA is apparently still not a thing.
